I’m pretty sure insurance would pay out his contract. I hope the team explores that option and moves on from Kawhi at this point. Great player. But, his knees are shot. He hasn’t played in months and is still experiencing soreness. There’s no way he plays 82 games or even close. Much less that he’s ready come playoff time, let alone being capable of playing a full playoff series or even getting through the playoffs altogether.
This is disappointing.

Kobe Brown said he was sick to his stomach being glued to the bench for the playoffs. Now’s the time to show something. And we should see something for the future from one or two players in Jordan Miller, Flowers, and Cam Christie.
