good morning that was like a five out of 10 I know it’s not that early so try it again good morning good morning all right there we go um welcome to the hub on Causeway just outside of our home away from home the TD Garden my name is Cash Cannon I am closing out my incredible fifth season with the team um the world champion the Boston Celtics let’s give it up for the Boston Celtics it is with the unwavering support and winning mindset of our season ticket members our Executives our staff and the guests here today which allows all of us to gather and celebrate once again on behalf of the Boston Celtics organization I want to give you a heartfelt thank you for joining us to tell us a little bit more about why we’re gathered here today it is my pleasure to introduce the Boston Celtics team president Rich Gotham [Applause] thank you cash and good morning everyone thanks for coming out on this ball me July Morning who’s got the uh who’s who’s who’s got the AC someone want to crank it up a little bit for us um yeah thanks for for coming out obviously uh We’ve uh we’ve had a little bit going on around the Celtics uh a lot of really fantastic things happening around the team a lot of great news you might have heard of about that little record 18th NBA championship we had going on a couple weeks ago and and then the um the duckboats kind of came by right across here and then um we signed Jason Tatum to a contract extension record good to be good to be JT um and today we’re here to share and announce some more great news and that is that uh we are here today to to talk to you about um our and announce our partnership with ma Mutual Insurance become the Jersey partner of the Boston Celtics the 18 time world champion boss Celtics and I I even had a prompt here for myself to say let’s go give it up but I didn’t needan to cash you you warmed them up very well thank you for that um yeah we we have a lot of corporate Partnerships but none is more important or meaningful than the partnership with the organization who puts their name on our iconic jerseys uh and I say iconic because I I I don’t think it’s an overstatement I think the Boston Celtics Jersey is not only recognized all across New England it’s recognized all across the world and it symbolizes excellence and championships and um it’s no small thing to to put someone on that Jersey alongside us uh and it’s not a decision we take it all lightly uh the partner we choose not only has to be a partner that that holds those same standards has that same ethos has a commitment to the community and frankly are people that that we can Vibe with people that we really want to enjoy a partnership with over a period of time and uh am puts a check in every single one of those boxes uh as we’ve gotten to know amik and their team uh over the past year as we’ve been working on this partnership it’s become really clear to us uh that their ethos and their values uh are completely in line with the Celtics ethos and values um their their motto of empathy uh is one that we hope we can activate together in the community uh to to the benefit of our team our fans our employees uh everyone across New England and across the country the the Jersey uh patch travels everywhere the Celtics go so every game night here in the garden on everyone’s television at home watching everywhere where our brand and our team and our players are seen across the globe hundreds of millions of Impressions globally um are part of what we’re doing here uh it’s no small thing uh it’s a great I think opportunity for amama to tell the world more about themselves uh and it’s a great opportunity for for the Celtics to help am achieve its its business goals so we’re very excited to do that um in addition to being our Jersey partner uh am will also be The Exclusive Auto home and life insurance partner of the Boston Celtics uh they’ll be working with us on our season ticket member Hub which is where we serve all of our season many season ticket members um and provide them with events and benefits and entertainment all that will come through this partnership uh we’re very excited about that um if nothing but um appreciation for am’s commitment to the community uh when we evaluate partners for who who’s going to travel along with us on this sort of Journey to try to win a 19th Banner a big part is what’s their commitment back to the community uh we’ll have news to share a little bit later uh but suffice to say that uh both the Celtics and am have a strong commitment to improving the lives of Youth and Early Education and we’ll be working on some initiatives together uh that will bring that alive in our community uh it’s great to be doing this with a local partner a Rhode Island based company means so much more to be close together physically you know in proximity and and also to be able to to work together more closely so we’re excited about every aspect of this partnership um like to thank uh amama Ted thank you Tori thank you thank you to all the team at am and mother who worked on this all the folks at the Celtics who put in so much time and effort to bring this partnership together but mostly thank you for uh you know both your investment and your trust in the Celtics and uh look forward to a long successful partnership go [Applause] Celtics thank you Rich um definitely an exciting time for the Celtics please welcome Ted shellcross president and CEO of am Mutual insurance [Applause] company thank you Cass and thank you Rich for those very kind words and thank you to everyone in attendance here with us this morning again I’m Ted shellcross president and CEO of amama insurance and first and foremost I want to say on behalf of me on behalf of our board of directors and behalf of the thousands of employees that work at am we couldn’t be more excited about this partnership with the Celtics how about a big round of applause and the timing couldn’t be better with the Celtics coming off their 18th World Championship the most in the history of the NBA and us here at amama not quite as exciting but just very exciting for us coming off our 62nd JD power award for customer customer service Excellence the most in the entire insurance industry can I get a big hand for [Applause] am all this to say to Championship award-winning organizations coming together to do great things it’s an honor for us to now be the official Auto home and life insurance partner of the Boston Celtics and to offer am’s award-winning customer experience to Celtics fans and even more folks across the New England region and Beyond and just as importantly as Rich alluded to we’ve always believed in giving back to the communities we serve and we know the Celtics share these same values in that vein we’re thrilled that aik’s charitable foundation will begin partnering with the Celtics Shamrock foundation and our first Endeavor will be improved in access to Early Education across New England particularly in underserved areas more to come on this in the coming weeks working with Wick working with Rich meeting some of the players I can tell you the Celtics are a first class organization and we couldn’t be more excited to begin this partnership together thank you thank you Ted and welcome to the Celtics family please welcome governor of the Boston Celtics Wick [Applause] grck this is fantastic Ted Tor everybody thank you so much adamik it’s amazing to think about your respected successful revered empathetic company coming together with us and believing in us and believing in this partnership we believe as well we’re going to do great things on the court I think with your support the Jason Tatum you can basically say you’re just funding Jason Tatum uh for like a couple weeks um and it’s a great investment um but even more meaningfully off the court and I’ve read through the partnership agreement I’m really impressed and uh gratified that you are going to take such a lead in our community efforts and we’ll do those together that’s the best part of sponsorships and win or lose summer or winter uh it’s hard to say win or lose when you just keep winning but win or lose summer or winter you know the the community continues and it’s really the heartbeat of the Celtics it’s going to be it is the heartbeat of amama as well and I’m very proud so thank you for joining us in this momentous partnership and I would like to say amama has always been very lucky for me I had my first amama uh account car insurance in 1978 I was just a kid um and I’ve stayed with you all the way through I’ve hardly ever had to call the 1800 24 M but I do know it by heart and uh and and uh it’s been good luck all the way through and then we signed this deal shake hands and what do we do we go out and win number 18 so you’re deeply involved in this and the Good Fortune just continues with you guys and as you said you’re highly rated it’s you when you read through it it’s Consumer Reports Forbes and JD Power top marks from small you know our ratings are similar uh Miami Heat 41 what are they going to say the Cavaliers 4-1 the Pacers 4 nothing the Mavs 4-1 so we’ve got some people uh you know signing our our chits as well um I think it’s a great time to bring the two companies together we will commit as we always do to Partners whatever we say in the contract we’ll try to do more we expect to do more we’ll deliver as much as we can we appreciate this part parnership very much and I’m really happy to kick it off today I’ve been told how we’re going to kick it off I’m going to do a shoulder press of this 40 lb trophy we’re ready ready am I ready this is this is I went like this all right up [Applause] you this is such such a momentous partnership I almost just gave him the trophy [Laughter] [Applause] but here’s to the partnership here’s to Amika here’s to the Celtics thank you

Fresh off our 18th championship, we have a new jersey patch partner ☘️

We are excited to join Amica Insurance, the longest-standing mutual insurer of automobiles in the U.S., in announcing the launch of our multi-year partnership.
Amica Insurance will be designated “The Exclusive Auto, Home, and Life Insurance Partner of the Boston Celtics,” and its logo will appear on the front of all Celtics jerseys beginning in the 2024-25 season.

Through this new partnership, the Amica Companies Foundation will support the Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation’s effort to improve access to high-quality early childhood education in underserved communities across New England. Additional information about planned initiatives will be shared in the coming months.

Boston Celtics jerseys with the Amica patch will be available online at Celtics.com/shop and in stores, including the Boston ProShop at TD Garden, beginning in the early fall.

  1. jersey patches are trash. the only reason I became a celtics fan was because of the clean look of your jerseys. now it's ruined.
