Minnesota Timberwolves Summer League roster breakdown – reaction and players to watch
may I interest you in the summer league Aura team of the NBA Summer League this year I mean you’re talking to Big Aura himself please Minnesota Timberwolves let me read you the names James Bishop Jaylen Clark javante Cook Rob Dillingham Noel Eastern yeah that Noel Eastern uh Jesse Edwards nadir hii Gabe caler jayon Le Leonard Miller Josh minote daan Nicks teren Shannon Jr Tyler wall Joe whis Camp kyat anytime you can add kyat you gotta do it uh fun team obviously some some big time talents some big 10 names we’re familiar with uh some guys who have hilarious names I’ve never heard of what do you make of this team this team is a good balance of like Aura and also like the most negative Aura players of all time like you got Rob Dillingham you got tan Shannon Jr even a guy like desan Nicks is a guy who likes to play fun style of basketball and you like cancel that out with Tyler wall Joe East Camp and um no Joel Eastern but listen straight up I think that this team is going to be fun to watch just when you go to the starting lineup honestly like you go through a possible lineup with Terence Shannon Jr uh Rob Dillingham and then you put a guy like maybe a lady in the fold Leonard Miller is a guy who was productive in last year’s summer league and I think is kind of rates out to be a pretty good Prospect eventually in the NBA uh and then you have other guys like Josh Mano who’s just an electrifying leaper uh I think you could have a lot of fun athletes and fun basketball on the floor with that said the Minnesota Timberwolves will have the award for team that is most likely to have like just the most volatility like their wins are going to be by 20 their losses will also be by 20 there will be no closed games I see that I definitely see that um yeah I think they’re like they’re the most fun watch like out of every summer league roster I’m most excited to flip on a Timberwolves game uh I don’t know how good they actually are I don’t like any of the bigs in this group like I guess Leonard Miller’s fun and I guess jayon Le could be a good summer league guy but like I don’t know there’s something that feels like something’s missing and I didn’t expect that from like the Rob Dillingham Teran Shannon team I don’t know what it is um you know I know who it is what Marcus de mask that does feel like it’s missing no jel Easterns on this team why why I no Easter has got a spot on summer league roster why no Easter here why um but seriously why I I didn’t even know he was still playing basketball to be honest with you I thought he’d be like like a mayor by now or something yeah or like West lafette Governor did you know that Koke yacht existed uh yes I did who is he he’s an overtime Elite guy I I’ve never seen this man before he just played overtime Elite now he’s like in the G League yeah I think he went undrafted is he good was he like a good recruit I that I can’t answer I’ve seen the name fascinating um CU yeah that was my HUD that guy Kat my other Hudak guy nadir hii yeah I do not know who that man is French yeah it says he’s French uh but also like there’s no way his last name is pronounced HiFi but you gotta call him HiFi right you have to actually I’ll tell you right now if he’s a good player I’m gonna look up his Instagram I need this let’s let’s decide this right now and no I’m not looking at to look at pictures of him I’m looking at see if he’s following a certain somebody he looks like AJ Mitchell got left in the Sun for too long okay one second here I need to see this who is he following this is going to be a good indicator on if he’s good or not he’s following Killian Hayes y’all are Cooks yeah that’s bad um lots of big 10 love on this team we mentioned no jel Eastern but Gabe caler back Tyler wall Joe whis Camp are any of these dudes worthwhile or no like are we the only people that care yes 100% only people what’s your starting lineup for this group um Rob Dillingham Terence Shannon Jr you love Tyler wall I do but like this isn’t Wisconsin anymore um Joey [Music] cam Joe we camp Leonard Miller Jon Le that’s the right lineup but my lineup is Rob Dillingham teren Shannon hyach nadir hii and uh James Bishop four you just want guys that aren’t taking the ball from from those guys I want every single possession to end with Rob Dillingham or t Channon doing something I’d be interested to see Jaylen Clark I used to like him at UCLA then he had that Achilles thing yeah that’s where we end this video car you know what I love about you that I’m handsome you’re reliable I can count on you you know honestly you remind me of Aaron Henry a little bit remember when like you know their back was against the wall nothing was going right and man just showed up every day he didn’t make excuses there were no problems
