Mobley 100% deserves it. If you don’t agree you didn’t watch the Cavs.
On that note, Mobley’s most impressive time came this playoffs when he was asked to play center against the championship Celtics for legit the first time in his career.
And he did great. You can argue he was our best player that series. In fact you can argue he out of anyone the Celtics faced in the playoffs, gave them the hardest time.

This is why it’s likely that one of the four will need to be traded over next 1-2 seasons. Just too hard from a team building perspective to keep a team with all these max guys and still have a competitive rest of the roster.

After Franz this was expected but damn it’s giving a lot. Maybe the max will give him more motivation to take that next step, as with the max comes criticism for underperforming, like DG has been through.
The training wheels/coddling stops when the money goes up, this off season is crucial. Atkinson and Bryant are some of the best, now it’s all on whether he wants it bad enough.

Honestly I don’t understand this but perhaps it’s from Cleveland not being a free agency destination.
If you viewed what the 76ers did with Maxey you think that would be the go to. By delaying that extension they could free up cap space which ultimately lead to PG.
Really depends on the option but basic business is to always keep the money until you absolutely need to spend it.
