question for you and especially because you’ve been around for a while you know how all this works what’s this like trying to prove yourself and show people that you want to get a foothold and a and a place in this league and knowing that there’s all the other stuff that goes on behind the scenes with two-ways and contracts and cap space and stuff like that it’s not like you’re a rookie you’ve seen it almost all by now what’s it like playing through that and still keeping your head in the game um I’ve been going through it all my life so it ain’t really nothing different me but only thing is for me is just keep grinding like keep being in ground mode keep showing everybody each day that I deserve to be here and at the end of the day just whatever happens happens and I know we spoke about this we spoke to early in summer league about they want you to focus on defense about moving the ball about being more of a playmaker but sometimes a bucket’s a bucket and he just has to go and score also so how do you balance that of sharing the ball also focusing on defense but making sure people don’t ever forget your sort of special skills also U I just feel like I’m always been like a past first type of player like I always watch LeBron so I ain’t really got a problem with passing the ball um in the in the scoring part like my teammates be on my on me about scoring they like bro keep being the grass because like I get pass a lot but I feel like everybody ain’t gonna fet I can I can score but sometimes it’s kind of easy to balance everything out and what’s this sort of run been like for you you have a sort of familiarity with the team you’ve been around a bunch of guys now you’re seeing some new blood coming also I mean are you sort of having to balance being the young hungry guy at once to get a foothold but you’re sort of a veteran on this team also what’s it like to be so young but also have to be a leader um it means a lot you know what it mean that the organization trus in you trust in your ability and just your leadership so it means a lot for me um you know this is like my this is my third summer league so I know what’s what’s going through with this you know so I’m still trying to grow as being a vocal leader but it feel great just you know the organization trusts you into doing that
