“coach says they should run plays instead of doing fuck all”

the sideline whiteboard memes are going to be fire

Oh my god he found that fucking guy’s twitter

  4. Lakers could easily move up one spot in the standings next year.

Ham was once Bud’s assistant in Milwaukee.

That being said, “play random” only works if you have guys who thrive off of chaos, and none of the Lakers fit the bill.

“it’s better when the coach does something instead of dicking around”

Laker fans rejoicing not having to watch the 4th quarter devolve into 3 guys standing and one guy setting a screen 25 feet from the basket.

Reminder that the Lakers had a multitude of games where their playcalling rate was in the 30s and below.

I will not hear ANY defence of Darvin Ham. The man was legitimately the worst coach I’ve ever seen in pro sports and I’ve watched Luke Walton, Byron Scott, Monty with Detroit, Bud’s last season in Milwaukee, etc. He really is in the all time upper echelon of dogshit coaches.

Reddick must have been on that one Lakers fan twitter who tracks random offense vs plays. That mfer was losing his mind with Ham lmao.

None of DLo/Reaves/Rui are really consistent downhill attackers. AD is at his best as a play finisher. They need to play with more pace and move movement to get the most out of their team offensively…think JJ offensively will be a good coach for this squad.

I watch a lot of Laker games but I don’t think I remember any of their plays

this was the most obvious in game 2 vs Denver, they killed them just running their sets time after time and then just went away from it for no reason

that’s the game i think where AD was like yeah idk what they fuck we’re doing out there sometimes

Darvin could be a solid coach if he ever figures out that he has to actually coach. What I mean by that is Darvin regularly became just a spectator. Like he just quits trying to do anything and just stands there watching and I can just see the inner monologue in his head the entire time. As Darvin watches Denver go on a run to erase yet another double digit lead, all Darvin can think to himself is “damn, that’s crazy” 😩

JJ getting advice from all our high school coaches.

  15. Wdym random? Their coach was consistent with his hand in the pocket play

  16. realfakejames

If you ever watched a Lakers game you could tell Darvin Ham wasn’t running shit, that’s why when he would grab the white board during nationally televised games and not even draw up anything his players would roll their eyes and look away lmao that guy was a bum

I think I have incredible knowledge and focus all along my staff. – Darvin Ham

Wonder what will happen after the first time some players freelance and ignore his mandatory plays?

Awful coaching is going to have field day…

Friendly reminder to everyone Coach Ham got a 11 seed Lakers team to the WCF the year he took over. He was also the first coach to ever win the In Season Tournament, an achievement I’m sure would be looked upon more favourably in years to come.

Lets see Reddick do any of that before he continues talking bad on Coach Ham.

Except that LeBron tend to play out of the practiced sets and make his own plays on whatever he feels like to do.

I wonder if this has always been true with Lebron teams or if that’s a sign of age. From just watching I’d say LeBron’s biggest “drop off” has been no longer being able to fully dictate an offensive possession. Instead he picks his spots based on the defense rather than forcing the defense to give up a specific spot.

Kinda chicken or egg thing going on there but that’s just been what I’ve noticed
