Lauri Markkanen Trade Rumor: Player holding up Warriors trade revealed?
it looks like we might have found out the thing holding up a Warriors Jazz marketing trade this new rumor comes from Tim McMahon on the Zack low podcast uh educated speculation I think P jimsky would have to be in the deal obviously you’re talking about a ton of picks I don’t know how much the Jazz would press on kaminga I I I do think like if Pimp’s got not in the deal there there wouldn’t be a deal so it looks like that might be the starting point for the Jazz to finalize a trade with the Warriors and send Markin to play with Steph Curry the question is do the Warriors want to send pods to the Jazz this is something I had heard actually a week ago I was not completely sure if this was true but now hearing Tim McMahon say this on the podcast kind of confirms that for me that that little rumor I had heard before was true so that’s the question do the Warriors want to get up give up psky to the Utah Jazz and give them all these picks that they have they have like two unprotected firsts they have a protected first they can give and I believe they can give something like four unprotected pick swaps they could give all those things pky and like McMahon says filler to the Utah Jazz now is that enough for the Utah Jazz to send low Markin into the Warriors it might be both sides have motivation the Warriors want to improve the final years of their team for Steph Curry so he can retire with a good team and the Utah Jazz would like to go for Cooper flag that’s something they want to do they’d like to build their team around a superstar and that’s the only way you’re getting a superstar in Utah is through the draft so both sides have motivation it’s interesting later on in the podcast they talk about the Spurs and how there are other teams that think that the Utah Jazz would get what they want if they wait to resign Marin in long term on August 6th so it kind of feels like the Warriors want to make this trade now pre-negotiation and maybe there are other teams that want the ja has to extend him long term because then they can for sure have marinin on their team when they send a ton of picks to Utah guys that’s all I got today make sure you like And subscribe to the channel I’ll talk to you next time

Well,it seems like the nerd believes that the jazz will get flagg if we trade markkanen.I can tell you that with the current roster the jazz are the third suckiest team at the league. We are tied worst in the west with portland and in the east only brooklyn is suckier than jazz. Ok we trade Markkanen,then we are super-sucky like brooklyn. Even if we end like the worst team in the league our chances to get flagg is 14%. You throw away the whole 24-25 season for a 14% chance to get a player in the draft ? Imagine this that you make a fool of yourself during 24-25 and you get only the 4th or 5th pick in the draft,that would be kinda funny.
I think the Warriors will trade Podz to Acquire Lauri
Utah Jazzs chance to get a better player than Markkanen from draft is less than 14%.

Warriors not trading for Lauri because of Podz? š¤Æ Look I feel the kid was a steal in the draft and as a rookie he's on a better trajectory than Kuminga but Steph NEEDS HELP NOW. I'm hoping they can throw in Wiggins, Looney and GP2 to get Walker Kessler as well. Warriors better don't waste Steph's prime by not pulling the trigger for Lauri. Steph made this organisation billions they should do right by him and besides Lauri is only 27 so they'd still have a building block for when Steph retires. Let's go Mike get it done already.š¤š¤š¤š¤

I donāt think that anything has changed from Aingeās original comments. Utah would need to be blown away, by a godfather offer. Imho, Golden State simply does not have the ammo for that. With that being said, Lauri loves Utah. Utah loves Lauri. Heās not prohibitively old for the new timeline. And heās freakin awesome.
So, Iām fine either way, as long as the return is actually excellent. If itās middling, itās just a mistake, as they can easily tank with Lauri, and finding players like him (especially for Utah) is very hard.
ššš not gonna happen. There is no motivation for this trade to happen. Maybe in 6 monthsā¦ but not now. People are seeing the writing on the wall that they have to be able to pay dearly for him, and itās just not going to happen with him on a short term contract
