Nikola Jovic has a sprained ankle NOT a fracture

And he could still possibly return for the Olympics. It's up to him and the Serbian team, not the Heat.

Just from my personal experience, I've had sprains before that took about 6 – 8 weeks to completely heal. So, it's not strange for him to be held out of insignificant games

From the article:

"Despite reports from European media outlets that forward Nikola Jovic has a fractured ankle and will miss the Olympics for Serbia, the Miami Heat's medical staff is defining the injury as a metatarsal ankle sprain*, with no Heat determination yet on Jovic's Olympic status."*

Also from the article:

"If a decision on Jovic's Olympic status comes in the short term, it would come from Serbia's national federation and not, at the moment, from the Heat, according to an NBA source."

So it’s up in air. Possibly will get training camp or even will be ready in two weeks. But like WTF is going on? Which is the correct diagnosis? Also ira with a glimmer of good news is appreciated for once

Brought to you by the training staff that kept describing Dru smiths injury as an “acl sprain” when everyone knew it’s a tear and he missed the entire season

Really doesn’t mean much because they are ridiculously non transparent when it comes to injuries. Look at how long tyler was out last year when they tried to act like it was no big deal at first. Our medical staff needs to be fired ffs. We have been plagued by injuries for a whole decade, someone is clearly doing something wrong.
