Report: Timberwolves have shown interest in Landry Shamet



How does everyone feel about Shamet? I haven't watched him a ton but his stats seem alright for a bench player.

    He’s okay in a Matt Ryan kinda way. A good practice body I guess.

    It’s hard to sign minimum salary free agents when you can’t guarantee playing time. Milwaukee were able to sign Prince and Suns were able to sign Monte Morris because they will be in the rotation no matter what, while in the Wolves no one is guaranteed any playing time besides top-7 (Mike/Ant/Jaden/KAT/Rudy/Naz/NAW). It’s certainly difficult to convince someone like Shamet to join the Wolves where he would be competing for 9th spot in the rotation with Shannon/Ingles/Miller/etc. Shamet definitely wants to play a lot to regain his stock and get paid, I just can’t see him coming here.
