Huh? What does he mean Jimmy isn’t familiar with being challenged? Just a season ago we had Spo break a clip board off his knee yelling at Jimmy. Jimmy was also coached by Thibs and Buzz Williams….2 coaches known for challenging their players.
That last sentence is an absurd statement to make publicly. Feels like they are trying to piss Jimmy off and make him demand a trade.
Jimmy has been challenged so that’s a lie and this is gonna lead to a bad break up 😪😪😪.

Am I having a stroke? I thought I read that as “Jimmy isn’t one who’s unfamiliar with being challenged”, meaning that Jimmy is up to the challenge. Surely Andy isn’t dissing him, right?

i really don’t get why they came out this publicly with this kind of statement.
At this point we have to assume there’s some behind the scenes stuff with jimmy we’re not aware of that rubbed the FO the wrong way cause otherwise this is some seriously weird stuff to say publicly. Pat sounded pissed off at his agent during that exit interview
Jimmy proved he could do his job in his very first season on the team by getting us to the Finals where lets be honest nobody had us being there. Going toe to toe with fucking Lebron James.
Its been five years since then, has Pat done his job? I feel like when a player does that you repay him back by putting faith in them and going all in on your window around them.
Then he does it AGAIN, with an arguably worse team. Despite this its clear we’re a piece or two away from actually ever beating one of the West teams. A potentially perfect fit spends all summer basically begging to come help and the FO does nothing. Im not saying Dame was the answer, it was always a long shot when he had no leverage, but SOMETHING.
Instead geriatric Pat told Jimmy to run it back again with G-Leaguers and Caleb Martin as his starting PF again even though we had just gotten bitched by a generational big man, and the team that we barely scraped by in the Conference finals just got exceptionally better including fucking Kristaps Porzingis who is made in a lab to break Spo’s small ball zone defense. All while he gets older and his window is zooming shut.
Yea i dont fully blame Jimmy being mentally checked out one bit this year. Now Pat’s trying to act all hard and pissed off like this is a surprise lol.
He most definitely phrased that wrong but feel like people are over reacting. Take that last sentence and it’s a non story.
