The Bad: Reed and Cam beat them like a rented mule. Defense was rough.

People are going to focus on Sarr but Carrington has a lot to learn with this performance. He struggled to get the offense settled and has a lot to grow as a game manager. If we want Sarr to grow on the offensive end, the guards have to find ways to do so.
I’m also going to flip a shit if Washington continues to try and make power forwards into centers. Vukcevic and Sarr are not centers.

Sarr looked rough offensively, he doesn’t play with enough physicality which leads to him taking a lot of jumpers. I also think he picks up his dribble too early.
Despite not shooting well I liked how aggressive Bub was tonight trying to create his own shot and attack the basket. Hopefully that mentality can rub off on Sarr.
Kyshawn shot the ball really well today, that’s gonna be his value to this team.
On a non-wizards note, its summer league and all, but damn Reed Sheppard looks special

1. build around bub (I said what I said) 2. if Vukcevic thinks he’s gonna shoot 3s and play no defense then he won’t last. 3. Sarr needs work but his mechanics already there. It’s a matter of chosen the right shots and being strong.

Bub is my fave prospect of the bunch. Lots to learn, needs to figure out how to apply pressure at the rim, and I’d like him to be more selfish at times. Needs to slow things down, and take time reading the floor. I think Brogdon is the PERFECT mentor for him.
George should sit corner and shoot 3’s and not dribble. Learn how to be a dog on D and become a 3 and D. Should play with the go go at least half the year.
Get Davis outta here already.

There were a couple possessions in a row where Sarr was the lead initiator and he would take one dribble and stop at the 3 point line and get himself trapped. Hopefully he gets more aggressive with more reps, cuz the next possession he had a nice drive for an easy layup

Sarr settled for a lot of jumpers. Is that how his game was in the NBL? I was under the impression that most of his baskets were around the rim. Seems like the FO just gave him the green light, which is fine but the shot selection was pretty poor. Oh well, summer league gunna summer league.
