  1. Bradley Beal’s contract may not have turned out to be as untradeable as we thought it was, but it’s effect on Phoenix sure as hell made LaVine’s untradeable.

Cowley is a hack. Don’t listen to a word he says.

Man… I wish I can make big buck just repeating old news

Could have used that caruso first to offload lavine

  5. zachlabean

Also this article is behind a paywall so it’s pointless to post.

It’s hard to believe that there is no interest in Vucevic. He could be really important to a contender and on a pretty decent contract.

  7. Bulls should of never given vuc an extension tbh.

Zach i get but sheesh man

These must be super easy articles to write. You take a self-evident fact, that then just sort of guess about the reasons which are also self-evident, then you add some narrative flair and you’re done in time for a liquid lunch.

Name 3 starting centers in the league that are worse than Vucevic. Pro tip, you can’t. I think Capela might be the only one who is worse, and that’s probably debatable.

I’m shocked no one is giving a vuc a shot. I know he has his flaws, but maybe in a new system he could help a team. Floor spacing centers that can rebound well are hard to come by.

I’m not surprised crazy contracts for players that simply won’t change anything about your team

  12. ihatenazis69

i get plenty of offers when i use trade finder for them on 2k

  13. Yommination

What the Bulls have done is like a grovery store slapping sale stickers on meat that has started to turn. Too little. Too late

  14. datatadata

Nobody with a decent enough IQ will take on their crazy contracts

  15. blueisthecolor13

It’s almost as if committing to over valuing your players and stubbornly doing nothing for 2 straight trade deadlines is a bad thing.

  16. If you would’ve told me this about Zach three years ago I would’ve laughed in your face

  17. StoneColdAM

They should’ve kept Caruso as trade bait. So god damn stupid.

The Bulls collapsed when Lonzo Ball went down. If the rest of the guys couldn’t make up for that, the team was cooked. Caruso and DeRozan had past team success to help their image, Lavine and Vuc haven’t done anything else in the league so they look bad

  18. bucketjunky

That’s what happens when you have the worst contract in the NBA

  19. petarisawesomeo

Cause they’re both bad and make a shit load of money. Duh

The max rookie extension was created for smaller markets & or shitty owners as a way for them to retain & pay more than competitors for their good draft decisions. Zach Lavine is patient zero for one when it backfires, he’s Covid 19. Bradley Beal is SARS.

What is the trade market for Melo Ball & that albatross of a contract ? He’s 22/23 & already showing signs of breaking down. Melo is Covid 21.

Just call Zion’s extension, the Zion cough lllol

  21. Pardonme23

are the bulls the worst team in the nba at managing assets?

  22. Cantguard-mike

This happens every time someone with a max / super max is getting traded. Someone will trade for them both …as it always happens.
