Lakers, Nets & Jazz 3 Team Trade?

Lakers, Nets & Jazz 3 Team Trade?

what’s going on everyone so Los Angeles Lakers need a trade and more likely than not any type of trade that they do is more likely going to have to be a three- team trade now it is possible that they do you know just like a salary dump trade and then maybe go make a trade but Lakers are clearly waiting for that right move that right piece that right potential trait you’ve seen them link to several players like every day it’s like they’re linked to a new player but that’s good right the more players that are available the more players that the Lakers are linked to the more likely it is that something gets done eventually now there is always the possibility that the Lakers just don’t do anything they ride into the season maybe the trade deadline or maybe they just stand Pat until next offseason you never know right but the fact that there are all these potential options is good and signals that something should be done right but at the end of the day again you’re even seeing with a lot of these signin trades and stuff a lot of the trades that are happening lately have all been three team deals because it’s really hard with the new CBA just to do an individual trade cuz a lot of teams have to send out more salary than they take for the Lakers for example right Lakers they can do a trade they can aggregate salary to pull off a trade but they can’t take back more salary than they send out so they have to work on a deal that is going to shed some salary but enough salary to also be able to improve and upgrade the roster not clear the second uh cap apron right cuz any if they use their mid-level exception or they aggregate trades they’re going to be hard capped at that second apron so the Lakers really need and are very limited on what they can do which is why I think it’s more likely than not probably going to be a third team like a lot of the trades that we have seen get done a lot of the trades that we’ve seen happen so one of the things that I talked about is Walker Kesler and potentially using the Utah Jazz as that team to get back a piece but also potentially dump some salary on right you you obviously are going to have to compensate them there’s obviously going to have to be a return from the Utah Jazz perspective right they’re not just going to do that out of the kindness of their heart but Danny AES really values the Lakers picks I mean one he said it publicly that he thinks the Lakers picks are the best picks on the market Because he believes when LeBron James and Anthony Davis when they leave that that’s it the Lakers going to be an absolute mess and he might not be wrong right I mean I’m old enough to remember the years before right so it’s very possible and so much so you even saw he was willing to take a 27 protected pick to get a deal done to facilitate a Russell Westbrook trade right when you look at Walker Kessler I know the New York Knicks they supposedly offered to First and Danny AES rejected it he said no but there’s a big difference between the Lakers picks that could be potentially lottery picks when LeBron James and Anthony Davis leaves and the Knicks picks who who are a very young team and are going to be very talented for a long time right but Walker Kessler alone yes he solves a big need a big problem uh several things right you you need to also get another piece or two right like Walker Kessler coming in would be great now you got your Center for now and the future clear some salary go bring in maybe like a Gary Trent Jr bring in maybe like a Spencer Den witty right could pull something like that off but you need more you need another pie and that’s always been kind of the discussion right even like dear roen it was always Demar and it was always you know Klay Thompson and and I talked about the potential with the Portland Trailblazers because the Lakers are heavily targeting Jeremy Grant problem with that is the the Utah Jazz want first round picks and so do the the Portland Trailblazers for Jeremy Grant they want two first for Jeremy Grant and supposedly the Jazz want two first for Walker Kessler now could one of them potentially you know kind of reduce their price a little bit maybe one of them would take a a a swap that’s always a possibility but there’s also the likelihood that all it takes is one of them to go nah that ain’t happening right to where I think another potential Target would be the Brooklyn Nets right you know that the Nets want DLo the Nets might even be willing to take on a rui haimura right because they have several kind of bulky or non- bulky sorry uh uh you know the twitch your more athletic wings that are all kind of Threes they don’t really have that four right ruy would slot him perfectly at that four so you could even do something to where maybe they would take ruy and DLo and you could get a cam Johnson and and then maybe do uh like ath dump type trade where maybe they take on uh uh you know the Utah Jazz maybe they would take on a a you know Gabe Vincent and maybe one of the young guys right maybe you throw in like a Maxwell Lewis or something to kind of just give them something that is like long-term to develop to to put towards the rebuild obviously they’re going to get picks they’re going to get a first right so you know well based on reports that the Brooklyn Nets want one first for cam Johnson the Lakers are very reluctant to give up a first for cam Johnson there are reports that believe that eventually the Nets will give up cam Johnson for less than a first but can you potentially do him for like a pick swap especially if they really do want DLo especially if they’re really interested in a d’angel Russell could you work something out to where it’s like hey you’re getting a DLo which is a piece that you want you’re also clearing salary right take on a ruy haimura now you got your sizable power forward that you can have and play with and then you know you got DLo who if you want to keep them you can keep them long term if not you can let them go expire in contract clear some money off your books right we’ll give you you know a pick swap maybe throw in a second or two whatever but like a pick swap maybe take on cam Johnson let that salary clear or if you could get you know if you get like a small piece I would love sharp could we get sharp like even if you get a walker Kessler right like sharp could be because you could start Kessler and just back him up with sharp right like so I don’t hate the idea like especially if he’s kind of an add-on but we’ll keep it simple with like cam Johnson so maybe you pull off a deal to where you’re trading for cam Johnson then you’re rerouting pivoting and going and trading for RO Kesler you can do both trades individually right you could even do the Jazz trade to where you’re unloading guys but you could kind of to make it all fit and in case there is that like ah like we got to clear a guy to you have a team in the Jazz right you could work something out to where you’re sending again the pieces that the Nets want taking on some guys clearing a little salary off the top not a ton you know like be like 4 million something like that that you could clear off the top um Works unless you’re doing ruy and DLo uh for cam Johnson you’d have to get something else back in return so you work something like that out know and then you have the Utah Jazz be that salary dump right because again if you’re just doing D and ruy for cam Johnson then that is like 35 almost 36 million that’s going out and you you’re takeing you’re sending out what like 22 million something like that from cam Johnson right so that that’s like 15 million they’re taking out I don’t think something like that would Happ but maybe they could send like another piece elsewhere maybe they could send you know a piece to the the the Utah Jazz that could be maybe sharp right maybe a team like the Utah Jazz maybe they go hey we we’d like a sharp we’d like to bring some and now you’re sending a sharp out along with you know whoever some salary dump right you could kind of work it finagle it to what you want Brooklyn Nets can kind of take on some salary and then Utah can kind of handle the load so then you send like maybe a gab Vincent to them right you’re bringing back walker castler say they’re getting like Gabe Vincent Maxwell Lewis and sharp right from from the Brooklyn Nets right so now they got two young guys yeah they’re taking on Gabe Vincent’s money it’s 11 million for the next two years it’s not a big deal but they get a first for Walker Kessler they get two young assets that they can use to grow and develop under the Utah Jaz Banner the Brooklyn Nets they get two guys that they want again probably going to be a little piece or two there that you have to kind of fill in right may maybe you’re not going ruy maybe it’s just like DLo and um you know you’re throwing in another piece right cuz you only have to get to 22 million so like you could do like DLo jayen hood chafino and like cam reddish right boom there you go there’s the money you need for that and then boom there’s cam Johnson so it could just be a lot more simple but to me can you use these teams to dump salary right and instead of putting all the salary on Utah and all the and Utah is just like man taking on like 20 million in salary you you’re kind of like here’s you know 5 extra million or whatever via a trade with that we’re giving you a pick you know we’re giving you you know a young guy or two to kind of help out boom Utah hey you’re taking you know 8 million in salary yes but you’re getting a couple young pieces you’re getting a draft pick you’re getting walk Castor now you freed up your cap space right you’ve added a Young Center and Walker kastler you’ve brought in a guy who’s still young enough to be a long-term option in cam Johnson who could be a legit three and D play either forward position and you know you open up the r bu to bring in a Gary Trent Jr to bring in a Spencer Den witty right and you’re ultimately sh shipping out Gabe Vincent ruy hamura d’angel Russell again maybe you’re throwing in a Jaylen Hino maybe you’re throwing in a Maxwell Lewis some but again you got to give something to get something like teams aren’t just going going to do it out of the kindness of their heart and without having to sell the farm shell out the farm then you know that it kind of becomes this difficult position right and even if you have to give up more because the the question would be Utah not so much uh the Nets team because they they’d be getting off of Cam Johnson’s long-term salary they get a guy in DLo who they were trying to trade for at the trade deadline right and you know if they want to take on ruy they could take on ruy otherwise you leave the ruy out of the deal not really worried about the net side of things it would be the Utah Jazz is like a first removing protections and like two young guys is that enough to unload Walker kastler you may have to give up another like pix swap or something but if you if you told me essentially when all is said and done right you gave up two pick swaps and a first for a 22 soon to be 23y old Center that would be excellent defensively pairing alongside Anthony Davis that can help now in the future you were able to bring in Gary Trent Jr able to bring in Spencer dwy you were able to go and bring in a cam Johnson who you could have for the next four five years at least I don’t think that that’s bad and you’re unloading like say DLo ruy Gabe Vincent you cleared some salary right you’re unloading like I said Jaylen Hino cam reddish the the little Nuance players I just think would be based on who wants who right in a team like ah you know we want you know we don’t want cam Johnson we want Christian Wood okay fine here’s Christian Wood type thing so that that’s why I’m not really so focused on like the little Nuance players I’m more focused on just like who are the main guys that are going to get shipped out it would be ruie DLo and Gabe Vincent those three guys are the guys that are going whoever wants to take them you know maybe the Utah Jazz go hey you know what we actually would like ruy like ruy could be a nice piece right you could slot ruy at the four could have Lori Markin in at the three like hey you know we we’ll take ruy hutman maybe that’s something where they could do that and then you can kind of use them to kind of dump right maybe maybe it’s something where you know uh d’angel Russell and Gabe Vincent are going to to the to the Blazers or uh to the uh Nets right and ru’s just going to the Jazz and they’re just kind of sending out some stuff maybe they send another piece out or maybe you go and pick up seon right there’s a lot of ways that you can kind of you structure this type of three te trade but to me to basically summarize because I know it gets a little chaotic I’m like well you got this you got this you got this cuz I am I’m trying to like package every scenario uh in like a 15minute video but essentially in a nutshell you you’re sending out DLo ruie Gabe Vincent and then whatever you know jayen aino whatever young guy outside of like I wouldn’t give up like connect you don’t give up Reeves you don’t give up you know but basically it’s like Maxwell Lewis you want them sure Jaylen Hino you want them sure right like and then the the vet minimum guys so basically you’re sending out those guys to whichever team prefers like I said maybe the Nets are like ah we don’t really like ruy but you know we don’t want to take on that salary but we’ll take on the 11 million for two years cuz we’d have to take on 22 for you know uh cam Johnson right so like hey that’s half of the salary for us right maybe go hey we don’t even want DLo right so maybe you’re maybe Utah’s the one that’s just kind of bearing the load for everything pause but now essentially you’re giving up ruy DLo Gabe Vincent all little Nuance pieces for Walker Kessler cam Johnson and then cap space flexibility to bring in a Gary Trent Jr bring in a Spencer Den Woody there you go so you’re shipping out say Five Guys you’re bringing in four you still clear your 14 roster spots necessary to ride into the season and then all is right in the world you’re like 10 guys deep right you’re you’re much closer to a contendo than you would have been otherwise to me I look at that and I think that that’s a win-win across the board but everyone kind of gets what they want you know the Utah Jazz they get picks they get the Lakers picks in particular which Danny AES really desires and loves you know the the Brooklyn Nets they get a pick they get maybe a young piece or two they get their guy in DLo everybody wins but anyway as always this is a discussion I pass a question on you let me know your thoughts and opinions down in the comments below what do you think how do you feel what are your thoughts do you like the idea of Lakers making a trade likely hinges on a 3 team deal. Lakers Trade with the Utah Jazz and Brooklyn Nets could be a move that benefits all parties. Lakers Nation could work out a Dela to land both Walker Kessler and Cam Johnson. Lakers News of a move like this would be great.

  1. Oh itā€™s so hard oh itā€™s soooo impossible, yet every team has up graded lol, only Laker dumb front office got these excuses. To late to trade dumb Reeves the nobody wants him now. They know

  2. More then likely I feel as if DLO and RUI will be gone, but the lakers are trying to work some type of trades out ofc but rn everybody is at a standstill but watch when they do trade

  3. Pointless trade they would be in the same position that doesn't put them over the hump to make them a better team. They need to focus on a trade to get better and not trade just to trade.

  4. You second guess Klays fit with Mavs? Playing along side two ball dominant guards who will draw double teams and kick out to open shooters. He will be spoon fed easy threes. The Celtics strategy was to leave Derick Jones Jr open in which he he shot 25% from 3 and only made 3 the entire series. The Celtics never scored over 107 in which their average was 120 on the season. The Mavs scored under 100 4 times in that series. They needed another knock down shooter to open their offense upā€¦Klay my guy lol šŸ˜‚ had to defend him a little. Less movement more spot of 3ā€™s for Klay. Which will save his legs for D. Mavs are strong contendersā€¦

  5. Not sure why you keep saying we will have to send more salary then we bring back. We literally have contracts that can align with Lavine and Viā€™s contract to the dime. And you are saying we need to feel roster spots. Hell we have young guys we need to develop. Teams only go 8 deep in the playoffs anyways and so we should be alright but if we can just get Lavine Iā€™m ok with that.

  6. Bro, I like you and all, but Iā€™m gonna block your ass you cannot keep talking about the same thing over and over again man just chill out and when thereā€™s some news some actual real news about something happening then let us know till then please stop

  7. Guys just turn off the noty bell until the season starts. Tylers postgame lives are good! Its these trademachine anthony irwin fantasy takes that are baddd, propaganda for clicks and sellout behavior
