After 2 games of SL. Reed outshining #1 & #2 combined.

Reed is way more efficient and a major problem for defenses.

Game 3 today against the Pistons. We got a star 🌟 fellas.

It’s hard to describe the #3 overall pick as a steal, but this kid has everything needed to be our franchise point guard for a long time.

  2. So glad we didn’t trade down for 9 and Marcus smart

High lottery picks are usually drafted for their potential to grow into better player. Not the player they are now. Summer league isn’t a good example.

does any one see Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf as a good comp for Reed.

NEVER get too excited over SUMMER LEAGUE PLAY. SERIOUSLY. Orlando Robinson was ALL-WORLD last summer in SUMMER LEAGUE play for the Miami Heat. Yet,,, got cut 10 days ago,, now excellng on Houston summer league team. SOME guys game are tailor for SUMMER LEAGUE.

  6. I don’t like Sarr as a prospect, but SL is notoriously bad for big man due to their team’s guard play. Reed played well and we should be excited, but at the end of the day it’s still SL. Reed still has a lot of things to work on (as with all young players.) He needs to tighten his handles because he lost the ball a few times dribbling, and also put more zip in his passes. Couple of passes he threw would’ve been intercepted in the NBA. But other than that a lot of his game will translate in the NBA so we have a lot to be excited about.

Ok but Big cock Jock is the leading scorer in the USA vs Australia game rn

    Selfish opinion:

    – Keep em out there, I love watching them play.

    Correct opinion:

    – Sit em unless you want them to continue working on a certain aspect of their game I guess.

The laughable comparisons to a rich-mans Alex Carusco (as if that’s somehow bad lmfao) was hilarious.

    He’s so smooth.

Basically the only question mark is how he handles these blow bys that have happened in the SL in the NBA level. His phenomenal defensive instincts have helped him in the SL make up for it.

If that translates vs more explosive guards we got a good one.

I said this about Amen too last SL. But you can easily tell what players have a natural feel for the game even if some of their skills need to improve. Reed and Amen both just knew how to navigate the court.

Amen’s only issue navigating the paint were his handles not being necessarily as tight, and also the lack of jumper. But he still was productive.

EDIT: Please for the love of god get Reed Sheppard some good screens
