Bucks nearing deal for GARY TRENT JR

so a couple new reports coming out today about the Bucks one of which is extremely exciting and one of which could be bad we’ll go with the good news first which is it is gaining more esteem that the Bucks could be adding Gary Trent Jr and this is something that we’ve talked about in the past but it’s becoming more real sham shiria who will Who is basically like w not 2.0 but like the second version of w where when he says something you know he’s on it he’s not just chirping this isn’t just some random little reporter that may or may not know what they’re talking about he’s saying that the Bucks are probably the top Contender to go get Gary Trent Jr right now and Johnny John Horst I will continue to talk about how terrible you have drafted but go do anything possible I just looking at a notification and it’s basically just U saying what I’m saying right now but do whatever ever it takes to go get Gary Trent Jr say whatever you have to say to him bring Damen Lillard and all these meetings which realistically I’ll give John horse credit if this happens but I’m giving most of the credit probably to Damen Lillard because it seems like the only way the Bucks are going to be able to get him is on a minimum deal which would be absurd that he signs for a minimum deal and really an indictment on Grant Williams and CJ McCollum if you know you know the guys that signed the CBA um with the players union leading them which basically makes it so the stars get overpaid or just get huge money where Zack LaVine can make 50 million your star players whoever the best players on the team are making crazy money and then maybe like one or two mid-level contracts and then anyone else even if they’re great role players minimum deals Gary Trent Jr coming off a weird year in Toronto average 14 points a game average about 17 before that has constantly been a guy that can knock down threes come off screens hit tough jumpers and isn’t the best defender in the world but he’s a dog he he plays with hard out there and he’s not going to do dumb stuff on the defensive end like some of the young guys we have he plays hard and he really stepped up in the little big game experience he had in the bubble in a little run with the Trailblazers alongside Damen Lillard so that could be the bucks back court oh it is a dream and like I said whatever you have to do to make it happen I’m not like a cap expert so I don’t think any of this could help make it happen but if there was a way uh where what you needed to do would be to give up one of the Bucks young players I’m sorry give up other than maybe Tyler Smith anybody that was on that summer league team for the bucks to get to go get Gary Trent Jr if it had to be a sign and trade anything like that make it happen now I don’t think that even makes sense salary-wise I think there’s nothing the Bucs could do but sign him to a minimum deal but regardless if there is something that could be done while keep keeping K midi Dame and Giannis there um that that is needed other than just signing to a minimum deal make it happen Gary Trent Jr is the perfect fit and if they get him this is an A+ free agency currently I’m giving the winners of free agency to the Mavericks probably already the team that was in the finals addin clay and I like Naji Marshall but if the Bucks could get torian Prince and Gary Trent Jr both on minimum deals I will say as an unbiased bucks fan that will always criticize the bad things the Bucks do the Bucks will be the winners of free agency torian Prince was the number one guy on my list of uh guys that the Bucks should want to get for free agency I didn’t even think about Gary Trent Jr because I thought there was no chance he would sign a minimum deal this would be a grand grand slam home run and one of the best moves the Bucks could possibly make by getting Gary Trent Jr on a minimum deal now lastly I want to mention another report that came out which is that the Bucks are working out Will Barton in Las Vegas I’m not mad at it you know always there’s nothing wrong with watching a workout but there really should be no interest there he provides nothing that the Bucks need he’s basically an ISO scorer Off the Bench always known for being a liability on the defensive end um not even a really good spot up three-point shooter always just kind of like a flashy bucket getter which is the last thing the Bucks need when you have Giannis Dame Chris Middleton Bobby poris even Brook Lopez knocking down threes the last thing you need is an ISO bucket getter Off the Bench especially while Bobby poris is still coming off the bench on the roster really it’s not even worth looking at to me I would sooner look at even like a John Wall than um than uh Will Barton if we’re going like washed uh veterans because at least John Wall at one point was a good Defender uh Will Barton provides nothing the Bucks need so I would be incredibly disappointed if we missed out in Gary Trent Jr and then had to settle on Will Barton but overall it seems like Gary Tren Jr’s taking a lot of time trying to see if he can get a bigger deal but looks like there’s not one that’s emerging for him it seems like if he has to sign a minimum deal it’s a good chance it’s going to be with Milwaukee and I will be so happy if they make it happen but let me know what y’all think drop a comment
