Textbook blocking by Lee. Green was dangerously close to getting a 10 yard penalty for a block in the back though.
Supreme_Hater
Stephās gravity obviously pulls the screener towards the defender which negates the moving screen. Casuals wouldnāt get it.
Yinanization
Holy shit, the collective of moving screens.

I forgot how triggering these were

Mans out there running Power O
MedvedFeliz
Seeing this in slow motion makes it so much funnier and egregious. He’s like a defensive line man. Grabs Shumpert’s knee while also moving towards Delly for a screen.
keyToOpen
They won multiple championships just cheating like this.
GlizzyGone21
Triple screen on the perimeter to get an open off the dribble three is so crazy
dehydratedbagel
I see at least three offensive fouls, good stuff.
KJagz33
I got called for less egregious moving screens when I was 12

Easiest way to success? Cheating.

These illegal screens made so much money for the NBA.
dwninaho
unfair that the best shooter of all time was allowed full on o-line blocking so often
Ok_Respond7928
āEvery team gets away with moving screensā not to this extent

Screens now are almost like blocking from a NFL OL
aztreystacks
The defenders the screen was set on are TT, Shump and nets pick

actual_yellow_bag
god damn so many illegal moves in one play. I know we bitch about officiating all the time but the mid-late 20-teens was truly some god awful shit from the league and refs.
BrockPurdySkywalker
Very legal. Good ref
TigerKlaw
He’s literally got Shumpert hooked by the knee wtf

This triggers me so much….I both loved and hated playing GSW in 2015 and 2016.

All those screens for a shot that only Curry can hit. Like, 99% of players canāt hit that, man. Curry really is the system.
westerosi_codger
The moving screens those teams got away with were fucking criminal. Sure, give a team with an already game breaking advantage in 3pt shooting another advantage
Jameszhang73
Cavs bodies flying everywhere all for Steph to hit the 3 anyways. Damn, that’s demoralizing

Glad for Lee.
Got his $.
Didn’t complain about losing his starting spot.
Got his ring.
Married up.

The NBA is officiated differently than every other form of basketball.
Illegal screens allowed as long as you don’t completely truck the defender.
3+ steps is allowed after you terminate your dribble. 4+ steps if you cleverly take 2 steps while simultaneously gathering the ball.
3 seconds in the paint is never called unless the player is camped inside while the ball is passed around the perimeter like 8+ times.
Rebounding over the back is OK if you turn it into a putback dunk or tap the ball back out to the perimeter.
Flopping is rewarded constantly on both offense and defense (which is why players fall down all the time with minimal contact).

Thanks OP, just yelled āIllegalā at the top of my lungs in the gas station. Now everyone thinks Iām a racist
thealt3001
This clip shows how much the 3 point shot, and elite shooters like curry changed the game. In the 80’s, 90’s, and early 00s, you would NEVER see 4 guys basically outside the bubble on a defensive play.
politicians_are_evil
Festus Ezeli and Andrew Bogut were the most entertaining bigs on this team imo.

Letās not act like Steph was getting held on literally EVERY cut he made this finals.

lmao, somehow shumperts right leg ends up in his hand by the end of the play

Is that what that is, a double screen?
