    Hmmm. Moody and podz and hella picks. Yep. We likely have to do something like that. It’s too rich as it is but agree they need to drop something from that demand.

    But then that leaves a bigger hole at our guard position, particularly point guard.

    Makes our guard situation worse and frankly doesn’t fix the logjam at the forward position. We still have 6 qualified forwards.

    Edit: thought about it. Hard pass. Its too rich.

    Too much. Let Ainge pay for his extension and see if Markkanen remains durable for several more years while he rebuilds behind him.

    Steph/Melton/Kuminga/Lauri/Draymond…Bench:GP2/Heild/Moody/Kyle Anderson/TDJ…is that a championship team? You only move Podz + Wiggins (salary filler) + MOST of the picks if you believe that’s a championship team.

    If there’s a way we keep JK that would be the dream. If they’re more interested in Podz they can have him. Ainge needs come down from his high horse so we can have a reasonable trade talk but I like that they value Podz more.

    Moody and picks/pick swaps. If not fine let’s see what the kids have

  6. So the offer the Jazz wants from the FO is:

    * Podz
    * Moody
    * 3 FRPs
    * 3 Unprotected Pick Swaps
    * 3 Srps

    This prob means they threw in the idea of including JK with Podz+Moody + all those picks so they could get the counteroffer of just Podz+Moody + all those picks. And the MDJ said “Either Podz or all those picks, but not both”. Smart stance to stay firm on Mike

  7. Are the Warriors that desperate and is Markkanen really who would be the difference maker that would make the Warriors instant contenders? I don’t think so. Also, consider the possibility if the Warriors exercised a bit of patience the price could go down or another, better opportunity could present itself.

    So, since they’re rebuilding, their strategy is to lose Lauri in free agency and get nothing for him..?

    Honestly I’m huge on Podz. His tenacity and competitiveness is highly commendable and his playmaking helps Curry manage the backcourt. I wont mind letting Kuminga go tho…

    The more these analysts talk, the more obviously it is that a deal is not gonna happen

    Dont do it MDJ, Fuck Ainge and his delusional ass mind, we go for plan b, this is too much and lauri aint even prime lbj.

    If all they want is Podz and a bunch of picks, do it. I get that it may hurt our future, but I just want Steph to be able to compete at the highest level until the end of his career and hopefully win at least 1 more ring.

  13. I imagine the final deal will be something like
    podz
    moody
    2 firsts
    3 swaps

    Jesus let it go already. Forcing square peg into a round hole.

    If Ainge is dead set on Podz + all the picks then you need to be able to get back Kessler to even consider it
