  1. Brian Wright just pulled off a masterclass offseason man

Well there we go. Off-season essentially complete. If he’s healthy, a big if, he has the potential to be one of the best third string centers in the league And a very nice change of pace from Collins during certain matchups.

    Not too bad.

Our D with Bassey as the backup was actually really good. Gonna be interesting to see the rotation…

  4. SunKing210

Well there goes all my concerns with the Spurs’ lack of a frontcourt rotation haha

Mamu, Collins, and Bassey off the bench will be good for getting through this upcoming season

  5. CrissCrossAppleSos

Do they have the roster spots for this? (Obviously they do but I thought they didn’t)

  6. ToinouAngel

With this and Mamu, we can wrap up the off-season. Fantastic job all around from Wright and the rest of the FO.

  7. So our roster is complete?

We just need to identify our two ways

IDK about this deal. I’d much rather have signed him to a similar deal he had with us last year. He won’t be able to play the first 20 games at least I’d guess so he probably won’t play normally until maybe a month before all star break.

Off-season complete. Can’t wait for the season to start

Hope he stays healthy. Guy has been unlucky with injuries.

Not bad especially for third string center. The guy knows the system and provides a solid frame for rebounding and shot blocking. I hope he learns how to set non-moving screens though. The biggest thing is if he can stay healthy.

Can we still sign Barlow on a two-way contract? or two-way slots were already taken?

  13. Bassey is a great defender. I think he deserves a shot as the backup because a backup unit including Collins, Branham, and Keldon was one of the worst defensive units in NBA history. Therefore a backup unit replacing Branham and Collins with Castle and Bassey and including Tre and Champagnie in this unit will actually make for a very defensively competent bench. This should massively improve our record because I have no doubt our starters will have a positive net rating

this has been a fun off season for the Spurs. You can tell theyve got a vision and are taking steps towards it

  15. Aggravating_Impact97

    Well, that’s the 15.

This offseason they were able to get add future unprotected first, upgrade the starting roster, add depth, and maintain near and distant future cap flexibility.

That is a win. That is a hard thing to do. I think they are a fringe playoff team and unfortunately Vegas seems to know this and is kind of begging you to bet the under and removing the juice from the over.
