From Tatum’s insta story.

Other highlights

  • Attend Ohio State where he meets his wife
  • Win 3 chips
  • Global warming
  • Cars powered on corn (technically ethanol is found in fuel so he’s not that far off the mark)

In the 4th grade I was trying not to pee my pants in class

  2. Such a cutie pie and smart as a kid. He wanted to help his community even back then and he did all that 🥺 and the USA basketball part 🥺🥺love him

Jayson Tatum in 4th grade is responsible for global warming, racism, the existence of rape, and childhood obesity

It’s hard for me to not like Tatum, and believe me I tried.

I wonder if this is the reason Tatum was initially reticent to work out for the Celtics, he said on JJ Redick’s pod that he wanted to be drafted by Phoenix and play with Book.

Thank god Coach K convinced him to go to that Celtics workout.

Bro coulda had it all…smh crazy how unpredictable the future is

it’s funny because he initially refused to work out for boston at #3 so that he would fall to phoenix at #4 but then his agent kinda forced him to go and they ended up taking him and then we drafted josh jackson hahahaha kill me

  8. Wow, 4th grade Jayson Tatum was stupid as hell. How did he not know Jo Jo White was from St. Louis and already played on the US Olympic team? /s

I remember when he he did try to force his way to the Suns during his draft process until coach K intervened

    I wish he could’ve been a Buckeye 🙁

A reminder that he was in 4th grade in like 2007 or 2008.

  12. csummerss

Celtics should cut him and let him fulfill his dream

  13. “My son will be obedient..” came off a little bit menacing but clearly he was really goal driven

As someone from Columbus Ohio, skipping OSU for Duke was a great choice. Still love you tho Jared Sully!

He had very good writing skills for a 4th grader.

  16. I’ve always said that the way he idolizes Kobe, is friends with Bron, and grew up a Lakers fan that I’d put money on him ending his career in LA.

Would like him to stay in Boston as long as possible, but I can totally see him going out there for his last contract and playing 2 or 3 seasons and retiring…especially if he wins 3 titles in Boston, then he’ll have that “nothing to prove, time to chase other goals” mentality.

That’s some good writing for 4th grade- Teacher

  18. He must have been a fan of that Odom and Conley team.

This is the dude that gave us that legendary necktie tutorial. He has always seemed like a good kid. He’s not my favorite hooper but I respect him.

The every car will run on corn aged poorly lol. Ethanol produces more greenhouse gases than pure gasoline.

Damn bro last paragraph is spot on. I hope he makes it right by the promises he made🤞🏿

4th grade Jayson Tatum is smarter than 90% of Republicans. (Knowing climate change is a thing!)

  23. hotterpocketzz

His writing skills at the 4th grade are pretty solid. Most of the 6-8th graders I’ve worked with can’t write for shit

  24. Cockrocker

In 5th grade he discovered Kobe was actually drafted by Charlotte, not the Suns.

  25. chuancheun

Man, if I see anyone saying he is corny for this. The kid was in 4th grade. He just reminiscent about his childhood dream and I’m sure some of you have had some stupid goals in the past.

  26. so i just looked this up and apparently Jo Jo White is from St. Louis. won a gold medal at the 1968 Olympics. sorry JT, you were a few decades late to the party

  27. ProfessionalExit6012

Wow. The only thing on my mind in 4th grade was getting to recess and flirting with the cute girl

  28. WalterWhitesFormula

Sounds like a good kid in the making. Props to his goals

  29. NoSympathy58

Big goals to have. Insane that he actually fulfilled them.
