[Joe Cowley] NBA people still feel like if there’s a place Zach LaVine could end up going to – either before the season or at the deadline – don’t rule out the Clippers.

Only if we get assets/picks for taking him on. Otherwise fuck no.

Why do ppl keep wanting this dude? Tf
Interest-Lumpy
I only advocate for this trade if we’re getting picks with him

he’s expensive and his health is in question. we already have one of those lol. he’s a good player that i assume would be more effective playing with someone like harden so he can focus solely on scoring and defense, but i just don’t see him as necessary. KP Jr is younger and healthier and at a minimum. though surely KP will opt out year 2 to get a bigger contract i’d rather give him a chance than lavine unless they are going to give up some serious draft capital which i doubt.

Would you do this trade if you got back a top 10 protected first round pick? Send out Norm + PJ + Bones + Coffey gets it done.
Clippers basically upgrading norm to a 2-time all-star who can go off for 40 any given night and is also a strong passer. He’s also taller at 6’5” and younger than Norm. Coffey would get replaced by Miller, and Bones already replaced by Dunn/KPJ.
We would still be under the first apron after this trade.

Honestly would take him only if we get 2 first round picks back. His contract is booty cheeks
