If i see another post about how we should drafted reed sheppard ill lose my mind.

Why would we draft a point guard at 3 when we have a point guard (poole) who’s under a huge contract and is untradeable until he rebuilds his value. Also Bub has more two way potential than reed sheppard. Bub is 6’5 195 with a 6’8 wingspan and Reed is 6’2 181 with a 6’3 wingspan. Now if you said Stephon Castle that’s a different discussion.

Because we’re years away from competing and Jordan Poole’s ass shouldn’t be keeping us from drafting BPA

I don’t necessarily think we did the wrong thing, but I do think at this point in a rebuild you take whoever you think has the best chance of being a star regardless of positional fit

You can’t seriously be arguing with a straight face that we can’t pick a PG because Poole has been so bad that his contract is basically untradeable.

We should be taking the best player available, but also, that’s a reason TO take a PG, not to avoid taking one. That’s why Bub is so exciting.

    Only time will tell.

P.s. drafting for fit on a rebuilding team is nonsensical. Jordan Poole is not a long-term player lol.

Um because Poole isn’t in the long term plans of the team

Alex Sarr is Kwame Brown reincarnated.

  8. If the reason we shouldn’t have drafted anyone is Jordan Poole we have already lost
