as a rule of thumb it is a mistake for stars to leave home base and ask for trades as they are declining. He could have been stable/the leading VET still at OKC and he would have an intact reputation. Same with James Harden and probably even Klay (tbd). We’ll see.

I love Russell. He will forever be my favorite player. But he’s way past helping a team win a championship. His jumper is unreliable and without that weapon he’s just not what he once was.
