  1. Excellent role player for the Denver Nuggets coming off the bench. Nuggets need lot of help from their bench and Russell Westbrook fits that role well and also sometimes as a starter will play well along with Jamal Murray in the backcourt.

  2. If I had a quarter for every time Russell Westbrook was traded to the jazz by an LA team and then bought out by the jazz I’d have 2 quarters which isn’t that much but it’s just weird that it happened twice

  3. Russ and Lue must've had a fallen out as I don't see a reason for why Russ would leave the Clippers. PG is no longer there as Russ could've been a starting point guard again with Harden manning Shooting Guard.

  4. Nuggets never sign big name players even if they’re past their prime. Every single team has been trying to copycat the nuggets the last 5 years. Guarantee they still own the lakers.

  5. If they don't put him in the corner like the clipps and the Lakers but they let him run the 2nd unit he is going to be extremely useful.

  6. Bricks and turnovers. The guy went 13-50 field goals in the clippers first round series vs dallas. In his last 40 playoff games (since 2016-17), he has shot 38.1% overall, 41.4 on twos and 29.6 on threes, with an effective fg% of 42.2. All of these percentages are abysmal, and more so considering the high volume of attempts per game (20.1) over this span.

After shooting an accumulative 82.3% on free throws during his first 9 regular seasons, he has shot just 69.2% in the 7 years since then. On jump shots from 10-16 feet, he shot 42.5% from 2014-17. Since then, just 38.1% at the same distance range. He lost his ability to shoot, i don’t know why. His turnovers have dropped only because he plays much less minutes.

Its unclear why any team, especially a contender like the nuggets would want this guy. They must see something nobody else does. Maybe they feel they can resurrect the old mid 2010’s westbrook.
