As a NJ Sixers fan this would be great for me. We’d have to stop dunking on NYC for having their football teams play in NJ though, which would probably be reason alone not to do it.

I have been a Sixers fan my entire life. I would abandon this team immediately if they move out of Philadelphia. Hopefully ownership isn’t this stupid, though fearfully they likely are.

I’m not from Philly or New Jersey but visited once. Isn’t the Sixers practice facility right across the river in Camden, NJ? So if the arena was built right near there, would it really be a big deal? It’s not like it would be far away – just take the bridge over and you’re there?

I think some people are misunderstanding. They will still be the Philadelphia 76ers. They will just play right over the bridge. They won’t be the New Jersey 76ers. Â
 I mean, if they built the stadium in Bensalem they wouldn’t all of a sudden be the bucks county 76ers.Â
