Kyrie was definitely going through something mental that he just couldnāt overcome. Look how he played at home versus in Boston. The crowd got to him. Hearing Kyrie sucks over and over in the loudest arena + all the hate (people pretending to lynch him outside of the arena) .. it mustāve been a lot to handle on such a big stage. Also so much of the pressure was on him and Luka to score because no one else could. I canāt imagine how hard that would be. I feel like if Klay was on the team he couldāve been someone to help him get through that. I feel like he didnāt really have anyone to talk to or anyone who knew just how much he was struggling. Even he downplayed how much he was struggling. Maybe if they end up back at the finals vs the celtics having Klay to take some of the pressure and to support him as a friend will help a lot.
Anyway I believe Kyrie is still just as good. Look at the entire season not just the finals.
Naji is so underrated. Out of all the new guys Iām most excited about him.
Guess that last spot will be decided in the last week before camp…. we need another Power Forward for depth.
