A year later, he would sue Jack Kent Cooke, then owner of the Lakers, for reneging on an agreement that would’ve paid him more than $1m after retiring.
Says a lot that a man like this turned his back on the franchise that gave him everything. The Lakers must’ve done something extremely disrespectful to him
