Dang, looks like my text was remove but I wanted to state that I was doing this as an exercise see how the pieces fit. It’s imperfect, like taking out Jamal early in 1st and 3rd quarter, Having only one stater on the court for a few minutes but it does somethings nicely.
We have Russ getting minutes with Joker which should provide joker with a guard that can create space, and should bolster Russ’s efficiency. We now have Murray able to anchor a bench that has always struggled offensivly in the Jokic era. We have AG playing big minutes with Jokic off the court to provide good interior presence on the defensive end (still sad we don’t have good defensive backup big). And we have shooters on when Russ is on the court.
Russ I think is a solid step up from Reggie, and I know we lost KCP, but Braun and Stawther are in a great position to take a leap this year. Excited for next season.

fwiw I don’t think anyone will play just 2 or 3 minutes– they’d likely be DNP-CD until an injury occurs.

If only this was shaped like the Denver skyline… I would guess fewer Saric minutes and more Westbrook minutes. Malone likes the 2 PG lineups too much to not play Westbrook with Murray at the same time.

Seeing this makes me miss Holmes. We really could’ve used him to solidify the bench. I’m not sure Zeke or Cancar (due to coming back from injury) are playable

Bench is better but our 2 is still lacking. Braun as starting SG is not winning in the playoffs

That Jamal/CB/Watson/AG/Saric lineup would be especially brutal spacing wise. Same with the Westbrook/Watson/AG/Murray/Strawther lineup in 3Q4Q
I think you cant play 3 of Westy/CB/Pwat/AG together ever. Mike may have to stagger with the bench.

Its likely Vlatko/PJ hall route into the rotation.. we need bigs who can shoot playing with russ

The three minutes you have MPJ, Russ, Strawther, Saric, Jokic… That should be awesome on offense, but man does that put pressure on Russ and Strawther to be awesome defensively.
