Kevin Durant’s posted a message on his IG story to Nike, “tell me, am I a bad person?”
The message repeats the slogan in Nike’s new Olympics ad spot released Friday, and has many of Nike’s NBA endorsees including LeBron, Giannis, Wemby, the late Kobe Bryant, but not KD.

This morning, Nike released a new campaign for the Olympics featuring some of the brand's biggest stars, including the likes of LeBron James, Giannis, and Wemby (enormous basketball names signed to Nike), but the spot didn't include Durant.

It’s pretty wild Nike would omit the best team USA basketball player ever. KD has been the only guy showing up every 4 years and is one of Nike’s most prominent athletes

I watched the video and it has lots of randoms so it IS weird that KD isn’t in it. Unless he has his own spot coming soon. I am curious how did KD even see this commercial? Usually your team licenses our your approval when a company is using your image or youre bound to a contract where you dont need to be contacted. SO howd KD find out? i’m thinking hes already in the know.

if this is actual disappointment and not marketing for a solo KD version, he deserves to feel disrespected. the best Olympic player of all time cannot be excluded like that without a valid explanation

Kind of weird of an Olympics campaign where they included pro sports footages and American football, IIRC para-Olympians used to have their own ad campaign to spotlight them too. The slogan is also unusual because it celebrates “swag” more than “purity” of sports and competition.
