Deserves more than 1 dpoy. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, best defensive player of his generation.
I really noticed the difference when contrasted with terrible defenders like James Wiseman. When Draymond helps, he knows the pass is going to his man and is always ready to make the move back. And, whatever body language read he makes, he also knows when the ball handler commits to the shot and he can help fully. Wiseman helps too soon and forgets about his man who is left wide open for a dunk.
Anyone who thinks we could survive without Draymond is outing themselves as a basketball idiot, which is most of this sub unfortunately
Great video. I can’t believe Draymond only has one DPOTY award, he should have at least 2-3, easily.
Half of these things are just shooters missing shots. Those contests are not special at the NBA level.
