It's easy to elevate a player or coach to a high pedestal based on what you hope for. Cooper Flagg is getting an abundance of accolades before he even play a college game. I've read many articles predicting he'll be the 1st pick of the 1st round in next year's draft. How absurd. There haven't been an american born white guy be the 1st pick of the 1st round of the NBA draft since Kent Benson was taken by the Milwaukee Bucks in 1977. . It probable but not likely that will change. Cooper Flagg will have bullseye on his back when he enter college next season. I anxious to see how he do playing against some of the best brothers at the college level in the country when college basketball get underway. Concerning Jordi Fernandez, the jury is out on him. It remain to be seen whether players are going to buy into his philosophy/style. The best NBA coaches are predominately americans just like the best basketball players are predominately black. Because he wont have any pressure on him to win now like it was on JV and Ollie, makes him a lucky fellow to a certain extent. I liked JV over any head coach in Sean Marks's reign.
