Team USA survives and defeats Team South Sudan, 101-100.
LeBron James led Team USA with 25 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists, while Anthony Davis added 15 points and 11 rebounds in the victory.
Marial Shayok (25 points) and Carlik Jones (15 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists) combined for 40 points for Team South Sudan in the losing effort.

    Bro at this point can ppl just give Lebron his flowers???? Like what else does he have to do?? Hes carrying a team full of all stars that has the NBA champion on it at age 40?? and hit the winner! This is why Lebron should be called Black Jesus not MJ! Lebron is the real savior..Also TicketTV had a stream earlier saying that EMbid said Lebron was washed just hours before Lebron had to carry his ass!!!! And one more thing….. Lebron is older than the country he beat!!! Oh and one more thing… Lebron still making clutch shots meanwhile the guy who says hes not clutch is about to be out of a job

    Lakers fans gotta be pysched! Their 2 anchors are playing at the top of their games, & just flowing on both ends of the court. Bron & AD are still world-class. So is Steph. This whole team is the Avengers. They were jetlagged today (US to Abu Dhabi to London), but finally woke up. But South Sudan let everybody know, (like Rakim said) they ain't no joke! They looked better than all the Euro teams I've seen so far. It's a new day in hoops. The Global Era. Psyched for this last Olympics for the U.S. OG's, let's go out in style with a gold! This game was a great test. KD, suit up. Avengers Assemble,baby! Next week, LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

    They always pressure up on Lebron in clutch moments. Make him shoot the ball. He's not Kobe or MJ he doesn't want to shoot the ball. He wants the easiest thing possible like a wide-open layup. And they gave it to him SMH I'm sitting here screaming at my tv. Make him shoot! Make him shoot!

    D White was a huge impact in that run, he truly knows his role, trying to get the ball to his teammates, clutch defensive efforts. Imagine if Brown was the replacement and yes he is the better basketball player but he'll just chuck up jump shot joining Edwards, Tatum, and Booker and that is not what the team needs, Steph should just have those shot attempts instead if they show up for a jump shooting contest.

    Anyone talking up USA is a joke. They were favored by 44 points lol and were severely outplayed.
    South Sudan deserved that win, that was extremely impressive effort on their part and a severely necessary wake up call to a wannabe Dream Team.

    I think we have to start advocating strongly, not only for clean sport from doping, but also for CLEAN SPORT FROM BAD REFEREEING DECISIONS. Basketball is the only sport that denies to follow what other sports have already done regarding the unlimited use of technology, f.ex. VAR in soccer, and it seems that the sort is still governed by the powerfull corrupted peeople, who try to retain power and sell it to their "supporters".
