Like seeing these dudes get their shot in the league. Congrats to the hometown kid.

I really don’t like this signing. He was a pretty awful PG in SL and basically only looked to get his and missed open guys with frequency. IMO spend your 2way slots on guys who project well for the small roles they’ll actually get. I don’t see Steward being a player who can scale down much, based on how he played in SL.

We finally signed a young up and coming center, sorry I mean shooting guard, to prepare for when Coby, Ayo and Giddey retire. You know those guys are getting old and can barely run the floor so getting Steward ensures we’ll have a path forward! Great signing!

  4. Hell ya, make the most of it DJ and show them you deserve minutes!

I’m not expecting him to average 19 for us in the regular season, but I’m glad we actually signed one of these young guys that balled out from summer league this year. We aren’t competing for shit so might as well see who pans out.

Proud to say he played with my son in middle school AAU and at Fenwick. Sweetest kid in the world. Great parents. Hardworking and humble. He deserves nothing but success.
