Poor Keldon. One year Pop is putting him on the US Olympic Team as a 21-yr old, and just a year or two later he goes to the bench and becomes the perrenial favorite of pundits' trade rumors. I still think Pop likes him a lot and, if there IS a place for him on this team, Pop will find it. But yeah, there is a lot of talk of the Spurs shopping him, and usually where there is smoke there is fire.
He's a good talent, he just doesn't adjust his game enough for some reason. He's still playing the "Keldon ball" like he's 1st option when nthe Spurs where tanking. He doesn't fit with Wemby's game at all, his defense is getting worse every year, so it's time for him for a new team. He has value as a 6-8 guy bringing energy and scoring of the bench, and that's a respectable type of guy to have.
He doesn’t fit anymore but I assuming more draft capital and expiring contracts 🤷🏻♂️
