I find it funny how folks had to go through essentially the stages of grief to realize that this team is pretty good as is. But, as long as people get it…
Markkanen or no, I expect Moody and GP2 to be moved because they have to place on the roster.
Not on the graphic shown, was Lindy Waters and Gui Santos, both kind of overlap with Moody as well. It would be easy to move Moody, who's going to want to play to get paid THIS YEAR, and replace him with Waters instead. Gui Santos they may hold onto because he's still young, and has potential, but right now he doesn't seem that useful for the team this year, and he could be cut or traded to make room for Quinten Post as well.
GP2 can be the backup plan to Melton, but with Beekman, you just don't need that, and in fact, a 2 way is the best way to backup Melton because they won't play every game (in the case Melton's healthy). So, GP2 is totally irrelevant.
One thing they could do is move Moody and GP2 for a big like Wendell Carter, or Steven Adams. The money fits perfectly. The reason they may want to wait to pull off that move, would be to hold out that a big name like Butler, Durant, etc. becomes available down the line instead, and they need the salary to match.
