So who are the two best players on team USA again? Crazy to think about.

Embiid needs to go to the bench. The perimeter defense has been way too suspect for the team to be running a center as slow as him. I also really think this team needs Durant. Relying on some of these guys to be consistent on either end in bo1 tournament doesn’t instill confidence.

Charles Barkley was the “best player” on the Dream Team.
The point is that when stars can no longer score the way they normally do for their respective NBA teams, and when their roles change to complement a super team, it’s not always clear who will emerge as the most “productive/important” player.
AD is the main beneficiary, in this case. He’s a two-way savant with good mobility and size. He’s a rim protector and he just fits in seamlessly.
It makes sense.

his game fits the FIBA scene as a mobile big that can score inside and outside, as well FIBA play won’t let you chuck 3’s easily like in the NBA

Yet these ESPN guys think the Lakers are like a 10th seed in the west

I hate the news propping up Edwards. He has been terrible and shooting the team out of leads.
