Let’s pretend that half-a-season of Spencer slander never happened, and move forward happily lol.

  2. omg omg omg omg

mods can I finally get a gotdamn Dinwiddie flair

  3. BalanceCandid5179

I guess he realized his dad was a broke ass deadbeat.

  4. andwesway

I hope they’ll have his jersey in the hanger this time! Both my wife and I wanted one the first go ‘round!

If you want to see something absolutely insane, go look at Spencer’s stats from every year of his career outside of Dallas vs in Dallas

He was like a 40% 3pt shooter for 3 years in Dallas and like 33% for the rest of his career

    Maybe the magic comes back

But in all seriousness; what is his role? I wouldn’t want him taking minutes from Hardy, is he buried on the deep bench this year?

  6. ImprovedCrib

Winwiddie back. I’m just gonna forget about the mid season diss

  7. imjustarooster

This team’s bench would probably be a 6 seed in the East next year.

  8. So what’s with the timing of that other Dinwiddie post from like 40 minutes ago lol. Shams is that you

  9. AshyCheekss

Coulda won a championship but Dinwiddie was playing around during the midseason buyouts…

  10. Plenty-Engineer-8051

Glad to have him back even tho he’s running back to his mommy

  11. I think my choice was DSJ but Spencer has played more recently with Luka and was part of the WCF run so I get it

We are so deep it’s insane. I do think this hurts Hardy’s minutes imo. Luka/Kyrie/Klay/PJ/Lively as the starting 5. Dinwiddie/Grimes/Marshall/Maxi/Gafford as first 5 off the bench. And you still have Exum and Hardy to use as well. Exum I think will be better in year 2, and Hardy has talent but we have a log jam for sure. Dinwiddie is clearly the backup PG, he’s most ready and has proven he can do it at high level with Mavs. We’re a legit 11/12 deep team now. So much versatility for lineups.

  13. I really really hope he doesn’t get consistent minutes. We don’t need a ball stopper anymore now that we have guys who can dribble a bit and score. I also think Exum’s defense is more important.

But for games where Kyrie misses it’s nice to be able to bring in someone who can attack the hoop and score in a bunch.

  14. Salvalicious252

I’ll fucking take it. We needed another person besided Luka and Kyrie who could create his own shot and for some reason Dinwiddie only seems to play well in a Mavs jersey

  15. At some point this season we’re gonna have a Hardy-Dinwiddie backcourt and it’s going to drive me nuts. I do like the move though, I just have a feeling he’s gonna end up in some lineups that Kidd throws together that will be absolutely infuriating

Hell yea my jersey is meaningful again!

  17. Lanky-Individual-231

This is the best roster Luka has been on. 60 wins and the #1 seed letsssss goooooo!

  18. mylifestylepr

We Love Spencer!!!!! A true Maverick!!!! We are definitely getting 65 wins this year

  19. TZBlueIce

    Nice. Welcome back, Winwiddie.

Mavs aren’t playing around this year. Not leaving any room to rely on the young guys Hardy and OMax. Sucks for my guys, since I want them to get their shot at playing and further developing, but I understand. We’ve got a championship to win, all in.

  20. This probably means Lawson is gone to make room for Keef.

  21. longliveorangic

I feel confident with Spence running the show for 5-10 games when we are injured.

  22. I’m glad to have this dude back man!!!! Let’s gooooo!!!!!

  23. HardcoreKaraoke

Let’s fucking go! I was legitimately bummed when they had to let him go so I’m really excited to see him back.

I know Brunson gets a lot of hype for the WCF run but I think Spence was just as important. Having him back as the bench leader is going to be amazing for our second unit.

Immediately Spencer said “Luka is the best player in the NBA”, Luka called Nico and said, “Send the contract”.

  26. this_is_a_name522

the Lakers are losing a lot to the Mavs lol

  27. 90% of the time Mom’s house is better than Dad’s. Welcome home, Juiceman!

  28. BlackWhiteCoke

This guy was a starter on a western conference finals team 2 seasons ago and is now the final roster addition on a team coming off its first recent finals run. Huzzah
