Dowtin will be more useful than McCain this coming season, as Dowtin can bring the ball up, keep his dribble alive under pressure enough to run the offense, and hits the middy. And he will hit the open 3. I like the chip on his shoulder when he plays, looking to cook his man always. He's definitely a bench player, but for the Sixers especially it's a role we need filled. I'll take Aluma over Jones.

Listen. Dowtin should be thankful to Morey and Nurse. Peope keep saying they are lucky to get him on a 2way. If he had a standard contract in place he would have took that from another team. Dont forget Morey hooked him up last year with a standard for no reason at all but to award his hardwork. Jeff has earned over 2m in 6months with Morey and Nurse. Let’s not act like this is one sided.

Dowtin is the teacher's pet , plain and simple, he doesn't even make sense for the Sixers ; another undersized guard, Mintz would have made better sense, athletic, and size, we need all the sides that we can get. What summer league was you watching ? Is certainly wasn't saying when the rest of us looked at, Mintz and Tucker were way more dynamic, I would put them on the regular team
The ball kinda dies with Dowtin jr. I would let him walk. I'd give the contract to Keve Aluma.
Too old for a 2 way contract, that will complicate things and obstruct new young players from getting a chance.
