This is really good to hear since a lot of people are saying Dinwiddie is only here because he has no other choice. He was offered the same deal from the Lakers but expressly chose the Mavericks.

It’s starting to really look like Dallas is becoming an attractive free agent spot, especially compared to previous years. I have a few friends that just got into basketball over the last 2 years, so they aren’t necessarily very acquainted with the reputation that bigger markets like LA, NY, etc. have in the NBA. From how successful our recruiting has been since Kyrie, these same friends (newer basketball fans) have automatically placed Dallas in that tier of attractive FA spots subconsciously due to our recent acquisitions.

DFW was already one of the biggest metro areas in America but the Mavericks were never treated like a top-tier destination. I believe Nico & Kyrie have started to change this perception together. The inherent value this brings to the organization cannot be understated and we have to give them props for accomplishing this!

Well well well…look who came crawling back

  3. I mean, we have a future All Time Great who is extremely selfless (i dont give a shit about how the media labels him as selfish ballhog) who at the same time is at worst the 2nd best playmaker on the world. To me if you wanna win, makes a lot of sense if you go to the Dallas right now.
