Just posted this in the MarJon trade thread. I’ve still got some belief in MarJon as being an actual NBA player it’s just clear that he needs the ball in his hands more to be at his best and we’re just not the right team at this moment to develop someone who profiles like that (especially now that we have AJ Johnson, who’s similar but a lot younger and more dynamic). I think a mutual parting would be the best for both parties at this point tbh.

I think Eric Nehm is pretty spot on with his praise and criticism in this article. I think he let AJ Johnson a little bit off the hook and was a bit too complimentary to his handle. Johnson struggled to drive through traffic, not even contact but just help defense swiping down and disrupting his dribble. That’s a very minor critique though, because he does point out the turnovers and Johnson’s weight. I’m excited to see AJ Jounson running the fastbreaks in garbage time.
Well worth the read.

Livingston seemed as the most “nba” ready player. That’s why he deserves a shot with the team.
MarJon seems like a good guy, but for a player that should have been above everyone in the summer league, he wasn’t good enough.
AJ Johnson had some good spells.
PS: To be fair to all players, with the exception of the 3rd qrt of the last game, the team coaching was a joke. No plan at all.

Beauchamp is a bust, and that makes me sad.

I was hyped for MarJon, he also seems like a great guy. Honestly was rooting for him over any recent draft picks. I just cant say I have seen any real growth or development.

I personally think a lot of comments on here are from people that don’t know shit except what they read on yesterday’s thread calling out MarJon and his abilities while having zero actually clue what they are reading. They then come to today’s thread to repeat the same things with zero additional input.
I am not saying MarJon is gonna surprise you all, but when the only thing the fans comment about you and how much you suck at the game. Who would want you as fans?
