They had 2 basketball players, Luka and Wemby. I’d say Ant is better than Wemby, but not Luka yet.can he be better than both? I hope so!

Before going in I thought maybe he was left off cause he’s already such a star…
But then they have luka and Justin Jefferson.
Bad list is bad

Soto and Doncic have been professional’s for 6 years! Hard to say they’re “rising” when they are each already considered top 5 in their respective sports.
BUT it’s ESPN so who would expect actual journalism?

Inoue (31 years old) and Dakota Ditcheva (26 and in PFL) are the real weird additions.
Both shouldn’t be there as their merits and age don’t warrant it at all. Everyone else mostly makes sense.

Sports fan outside of America thank ESPN for the *generous* inclusion of soccer/football players, to balance out the American exceptionalism…

Come on. We are better than this. The only reason espn makes these lists is for people to get mad and share them. Don’t give espn what they want. Basic troll

I have no idea how they classified some of these people as “rising stars”.
Cale Makar is 25 and has been widely considered the best defenceman in hockey for years. And NHL players are drafted earlier. So their star tends to rise a little earlier.

Adding him would be like adding Micah Parsons.
