Totally agree with your opinion regarding Zaire. Zaire's "failure" in Memphis goes more into the team's vision and their refusal to capitalize on his obvious mid-range shooting skills.
Joe you can't say the games don't count and then say you're disapointed in Jaylen Wells. He and Cam are rookies trying to figure it out. He had a 27 & 28 poioint games and played decent defense. What else do youj want from the guy? Out of his own mouth, he will tell you he needs to get better, so he has humility also and is willing to work.
There is also a conversation to be had regarding the GM with three 1st round picks on Zaire, LaRavia and Roddy. who answers for those picks?
Heat got lucky on multiple logo threes and our missed free throws, we dog walk them with zach edey and cam spencer. Win in my eyes
This loss, I think, will make them work harder than if they won. If that's the case, I'm thankful for the XP
