If I was an NBA scout, I would be trying to recruit some of these players from other Olympic teams to come play in the NBA.
Short answer: The NBA wanted to grow the international game, other countries have national teams and prepare them to play us so they're also good and their talent makes its way over to the NBA. A truly global games means good players will be found outside the US.

A healthy piece of humble pie would do wonders for the redeem team. They have all the talent in the world but even Rivers make it seem like country’s like Germany or Serbia don’t invest millions of their respective currencies in to developing young talent. Remember when Luca said: „it’s easy to score in the NBA“?
A LOT of these international leagues are super competitive and focused on defense. Ball movement is just another aspect that has been overlooked in todays NBA coaching in my option. 5 men playing defense is another.

Team USA should be ashamed. We literally sent the super soldiers & are limping across the battlefield. The lack of focus, intensity, & defensive consistency is honestly embarrassing. We have completely lowered the standards of US basketball.

There 125 international players in the nba, about 1/5 plus other countries have more pride playing for their countries. Our stars are coddled since the 8th grade.
