Prime Tony Parker runs literally the full court and finishes the acrobatic layup while avoiding LeBron’s patented chasedown block in game 4 of the 2007 NBA Finals

The Spurs were like the Celtics. Anyday 1 out of 6-7 players could completely take over and anchor them to a win.
I love Tim Duncan, but the one thing I hold against him is that he never had to anchor a team on his shoulders offensively in his career. Most nights he was the 2nd or 3rd option offensively.

I don’t think people realise how hard that layup is. That’s insane, like more insane than a double clutch or 360 imo

Tony Parker is massively underrated

He’s so quick and elusive with the move while dribbling the ball.

I always wish my Spurs had a real athletic wing throughout the 2000s. Like imagine if Parker and Ginobli had a Derrick Jones Jr to lob to, would’ve been even more fun to watch on the fast break

That was not even Prime Parker , maybe beginning of his prime

Wow he released that super early. Was LeBron notorious for his chasedown blocks pre-2016?

I’ve only been to a handful of NBA games. I remember watching a Spurs vs Clippers game in person around 2010-2011, and to this day, prime Tony Parker is still the fastest NBA player I’ve ever seen live.

Dude was so good in the paint for guards

I miss Tony Parker

That extra little extension at the finish was really something. His peripheral vision is incredible.
