I truly donāt understand the huffle with the PF situation, NBA is about versatility in both ends. Now we have 5 guys in our starting lineup who can all put the ball on the floor and attack mismatches, Oubre and Martin can take the POA defense very well. George as a help guy is perfect.
You need a big body in there for two reasons, one to have a presence, and two to scoop up the leftover rebounds Embiid doesn't get. You either have to have some length to gather in a decent amount of rebounds or your attitude and technique needs to be there if you aren't that tall. You can't teach height. Can't have 6-5" guys playing power forward full time unless they are Larry Johnson or Charles Barkley. Otherwise get Precious Achuiwa or Morris to eat up some minutes. Also I would consider KJ there for extended time. They don't need four high level scorers, three is enough and the other players should supply defense rebounding and opportunity baskets.
I HATE THAT SIXERS LEAVE 1 SPOT OPEN- GET A PF!!! – Achiuwa, Metu, Morris, DJ Wilson, Thor – i like Achiuwa or Metu most bc they also play Center – they probably signing Morris though probably – Achiuwa or Metu just for to matchup defensively with the big PF but there aint too many of those these days but you got Jaren Jackson & Randle & Markannenen & Anthony Davis sometimes plays PF & Zion etc.etc.etc like lets be realistic – i do think at George's old age that George should beef up a little & become more of that stretch 4 type bc George is almost 6'9 w/long wingspan etc etc.
Yes – would really like Osman. I think he is the best available. Morris is too slow at this point to play effective defense. Folks will go nut cause they think of the old days with big ol bodies hanging around bex and that just doesn't match today's game. More and more teams are playing on the perimeter and you need someone who can play perimeter defense as well as go after rebounds. That being said Markannen would be the ultimate pickup.
Trade for Isaiah Stewart – he's the missing piece to a championship puzzle. He'll do all the dirty work at power forward/back-up centre: rebound, rim protect, score and space the floor with a 39% 3pfg. He'll give the Sixers that hard edge mentality which the Sixers lacks. He'll be a Rasheed Wallace type player during the championship-era PIstons.
Bruh PG doesn't like to play the 4 he said that himself. Next you can't have KO or Caleb playing the 4 on the regular basis. And they definitely can't do that versus the Knicks, Boston, Pacers or Cavs. They need a bigger body to help when playing those teams definitely in the playoffs. JoJo will need help in the paint. There aren't many "position less" teams in the East at all. All the top end teams in the East have a 4 who can rebound and are big.
Cedi osman was been supposed to be a sixer. I like. Doubt Precious would come on a minimum considering knicks have bird rights. But he'd be a nice tool off the bench as switching 5 or big 4.
Trading for Markkanen we would have to trade a combination of KJ Martin + one of Caleb Martin or Kelly Oubre and a minimum guy. Plus 4-5 picks and even then the Jazz probably wouldnāt want that and thatās a lot.
I am so tired of hearing about the three ball, I want to puke. Sixers content creators not all think the three ball is the most important thing in the NBA. It's defending rebound and shooting that wins championships. Daryl Morley, teams with all their three point shooting have won zero championships. The sixers need another rebounder along with Joel in the starting line-up. I know this is going to be real scary for many of you, but the power forward doesn't have to shoot threes, he just has to rebound and play D run the floor. The sixers just spent 400 million on 2 players to shoot the three, let along the others. It's time to address rebounding in the starting line up. I don't want to hear today's NBA because it's BS.
I'm so sick of hearing this BS, Precious Achiuwa cannot play power forward because he cannot shoot the three and so what.
Lauri Markkanen is a power forward that can shoot and that is rare, and would love to see him in a sixers uniform, but we all know you got to deal with Danny fleece. That is a dream, not a reality. That can happen. I like Oman, he is a solid bench piece.
The PF position, I think, is being a little overblown. It's a small ball league. There are not many true old school PF in the NBA anymore. And most of your PF play at the 3pt line for spacing. I'm not saying rebounding isn't an issue, but I think it's more about effort and hustle than it is about size in today's NBA.
I would love to acquire Markannen but Iām not sure if we are allowed to have another max contract. But then again they could consider trading PG after the season to sign him? LoL unload him with that Clips 2028 pick for a second rounder and a vet so they could max Lauriā¦.. but how do you trade for Lauri without including that Clips 2028 pick? Feels like it canāt happen overall.

IM SOLD WE NEED PRECIOUS ACHIUWA!!!!!
I wonder if part of it is waiting for RoCo medical to see if he can be healthy enough to sign because RoCo would actually be perfect.

Aluma sounds better than all of your PF choices
Welcome to the era of position less basketball
We need an Olynyk/KLove type of player
Dorian Finney Smith sucks he's not good

I would take Osman over Morris. Not sure why Sixers fans are so obsessed with Morris. Heās a terrible defender and he doesnāt rebound.
Soā¦ how about someone to grab a rebound bro
Yea a 6ā6 PFā¦
Position less basketball has been the norm for awhile my dog. Let Randle keep up with Caleb Martin
If we trade for a starting power forward then what happens with Martin he left Miami to start in Philly
What about A trade for Christan Wood? I feel like he'd be an ideal fit…
The Sixers need to get a guy who can eat defensively at both the 3 and the 4.
A trade for DFS is probably the best outcome.
But, as Embiid's playmaking improves, maybe they should try him at the 4. And Drummond as the center.
much rather have cedi than morris. still worried who guards giannis on our team….but cedi is better than gordon lowry oubre right now.

Sixers I like Lauri and OsmanšŖš½š„š„
We need Ben back
Osman and Achewious
Where tf is Nikolaevās mirotic ??
Metu can get rebounds dribble hit the three got better on defense he was terrible at that position

it woulda been so nice to bring back Batum. to bad his wife dragged him back to LA by the ear
Wait a second… how can the 76ers get Markkanen or Finney Smith when they can not match their salary?
