We kept hearing that Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum won’t win together as a duo, or Celtics won’t win a championship. “They’re frauds/soft”
I’m glad They got it done. It’s a great feeling 🏆
All this “aura” stuff is so funny to me. Maybe I’m an older fan but us trouncing the entire NBA with quiet, no-nonsense, ego-less, Hoosiers-ass team basketball was like the ultimate form of satisfaction on this Earth.
Haters will be haters. But ultimately its because they are jealous.
That’s what makes this championship that much sweeter there was sooooo much hate for this group that even with all the hate they couldn’t deny them the championship.
The best timeline
Cs got a CRAZY amount of hate this season.
I get that they’re a franchise with a shitload of history and have rivals and detractors in both leagues, all over the place.
But still.
I don’t remember the Lakers getting nearly this much shade when they won their bubble title in 2020.
