or we can shop wiggs around and get rid of the 70 mil in cap space. kuminga is great but he doesn't need to massive 200 mil contract. he is making 7.6mil now. so offer something like 15/yr for 4 guaranteed. and then sign Markkanen for the rest. that way we can keep some of the young talent. moving moody for a more experienced bigger wing is good also, or another big rim defender. I mean if it was up to me, its t late now, i would have gone and signed Javale Mcgee for super cheap and let him block shots and grab rebounds all day lol
All these speculations are good but I have not seen Lauri having any interest in being a warrior. Plus he is not on a winning team or Utah being a winning team anytime soon. Warrior need to run another season and the look to get a good pick or trade down the road.

The BI trade wouldnt make sense, not with the current warriors system, plus Kerr doesnt like BI's defensive effort. BI is 1on1 specialist. I like his over the top shooting style, fun to watch, but he struggles to create alot of seperation for his shots, and he slows the game down.
Markkanen would be the only trade worth it that actually has a chance to move the needle for the Warriors. Most likely, Ainge is just playing games and a trade wont get done within these next 14 days( Aug6 is most likely when jazz will extend markkanen and then cant be traded for 6 months).
Kuminga basically has to be what markkanen currently has shown these past 2 seasons with Jazz… For me to feel comfortable that he can be that #2 for GSW. Stuff that markkanen does that would be a really good fit for these warriors: Great at cutting. Great off-ball movement/positioning, takes advantage of smaller player mis-matches, Elite Screen Setter, high efficient shooter, deadly from 3-point range, and the most important( where Kuminga heavily struggles till he develops more) He reads and processes the floor very fast, which leads to quicker decisions, which keeps the flow of the game at a good pace.
I say forget Lauri n get a couple pieces

Forget Markkenen. I don’t think any one single player will save the Warriors. Remember Markkenen was injured and out for many games last season for the Jazz. What if he gets injured again and misses much of this season.? The Warriors would be sunk then. I think we are better to keep what we have and develop the new team. What if Steph has an injury ? Then all the efforts to win him another championship are lost. We need to develop a deep “Team” and not put all our hopes on any one player.
This trade ain’t happening honestly I’m a die hard warrior fan just got for Ingram and start developing our young stars more
Brandon Ingram? No! Ingram’s not much better than Wiggins/Kuminga now – and he’s expecting a MAX deal.
Lauri Markanen is an excellent fit.
no we don't need Markkanen we need to adjust our scheme to feature JK and Steph on offense and a Defense anchored by Draymond and TJD (who has proven he is a good rim protector with all the tools to be an elite rim protector)… and Moody has played well in limited minutes he just needs a bigger role (more PT) and Podz is a baller and he will do all the extra hustle plays (boxing out, Diving on the floor for loose ball, etc…)

Markannen is a good all star player but on abad team jazz is on, rebuilding mode, its a waste of talent if he stay on jazz, jk is good but not yet as a solid second scorer, podz is good but his playing style of basketball ball is replaceable there a lot of playing like him on nba

Markennan has the size of a center but plays like a wing and Draymond does not need to be starting at center. We still need size and rim protection..The warriors should try to trade kuminga, mooney, looney gp2 and picks for markennan and Kessler. Then go pick up tyus jones out of free agency.

Ingram is like a younger and more springy KD. Also his GM isn’t crazy stubborn Ainge. Go get him. It may cost you Wiggins and picks tho.
