The Raptors Have Made Their Intentions Clear For 2025..

The Toronto Raptors are trying to put their disastrous 25 win season behind them and improve on things in 2024-2025 but how many more wins can we really expect them to get. There is certainly talent on the roster with the likes of Scottie Barnes, RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley and potentially there is enough to challenge for a play-in tournament birth or even go as far as the playoffs in the weak Eastern Conference. The problem with those aspirations could be, themselves.

Head coach Darko Rajakovic and President Masai Ujiri have already vocalized how the future starts now and that the Raptors are heading more towards a rebuild so even though they may be good enough to win 35-40 games, do they want to win that many?

In today’s video on Amateur Hour Sports, Jacob Gramegna reacts to the Toronto Raptors win total being set at 30.5 wins. How many should fans really be expecting and what should the season expectations be?

  1. I think one good move for a wing or forward that can shoot and is at least a decent defender and at least some type of further improvement from Scottie (hopefully IQ Barrett and gradey to🤞) would make them a definite playoff team.

  2. Its about winning this season. I dont want to hear another year of tank. Compete level needs to be raised from darko and co

  3. I think the Raptors tried to "squeeze all the juice" they could out of that 2021 to 2023 core. I think with Siakam, OG, and Schroeder as our best players we werent gonna do much. Especially after Fred left for nothing. I've been calling for this rebuild for a while

  4. Gotta go hard…can't let our winners develop losing habits. Scotty wants to win and we won't know what's missing unless we try our best

  5. The East is an absolute Sh$t show this year. We will be in the playoff as one of the play-in team…..Yes, the East is THAT Bad…….

  6. i see this season as an evaluation of the roster seeing who fits the teams direction and who doesnt

  7. The East is not great. However, our division is great except Brooklyn. So 12-4 in our Atlantic games 1 win vs top three 3-1 vs Brooklyn. This team since KLow plays down to competition and plays well but loses at the end of games vs very good teams.

I start BB to keep his trade value as high as possible. Even is BB plays 25 MPG and Gradey plays 23 (more than last year and if he plays 75+ games that is way more) you get good development there and when you trade BB it should be for SF or C depending on CK return possibility. After the trade there is more time for both GD & JKW

  8. I don't think they've made it clear yet since we still have Poeltl. We'll know 100% by the time the trade deadline hits. They're in an 'observe and evaluate period' rn
