As much as I did hate him as a basketball player first and as a person second, he has gained a lot of respect from me personally in the recent years.
Also there have been a lot of negative stories about him during his time in german youth national teams within the scene.
One thing was never a question though: Dennis is as german as it comes and you couldn’t be more proud of him. He is the perfect example of a modern Germany. No matter where you’re roots are, no matter how inperfect you may be (as no one is perfect), he is the mofo who told me once again why I love Basketball, why i love Germany and why I can wholeheartly say: FUCK AFD!
