The Jokic-Westbrook two-man game can work if they do this

The Jokic-Westbrook two-man game can work if they do this

What will it look like if Nikola Jokic andRussell Westbrook successfully create an effective two-man game? What will be the traits of their style of play? Plus, which players are most and least likely to have a career year? And why Dario Saric might be a diamond din the rough.

  1. Love this breakdown! Been drawling up plays in my head since got him! His energy will be hard to plan for. He will be great on the fast break. Cause we was trash last year!

  2. I really feel like Jamal's body is causing his decline. I have watched the Canadian team and he looks lost and can't make shots. My take is that this next year will be his last with nuggets, sadly. No one is talking about how bad he has played since the title.

  3. Russ loves a good Center now how would it be if he played with the Best Player In The League. I just think if the low ball for Russ per game would be, 10 points, 5 assists, 6 rebounds. Off the bench from one player that is good. Also if Jokic can get a guy who can run with him each time they get into Transition.

  4. I've said this before, but I believe the bench is much better off than last year. Hindsight is 20/20, but Wes and Dario add some stability to the line-up. I'm optimistic about the up coming year.

  5. Fantastic breakdown. A lot of what you mentioned is dependent on Russ doing things he hasn’t in the past but the path is there for him to contribute if he’s willing to make those “sacrifices” (as you mentioned, he’d get rewarded). We’ll see if he does.

  6. I hope Zeke gets a chance at the back up 4, and runs with it. Weirder shit happens, and he has the tools, he should be a talent, on paper.

  7. I think joker can extend Russ’ career-dude is a baller gives all he’s got. He will add another dimension and take some stress off Murray/porter. I can see this being a very good thing for Denver-especially with sarić

  8. Great show Mares, even as upset as I've been at this off-season, what the hell can i really do about it lol, love the positive vibes of just focusing on what we have and how we can succeed with our current roster ⚒️🏀

  9. Good commentators like you Adam can go on conjecturing for hundreds of hours before the season begins, and I have no doubt you will, and I get it you have to put out a lot of content, but, really, the Nuggets situation comes down to one thing: what happens in the minutes when Jokic is on the bench? Will they win, draw or lose those minutes? We know for the last few years, even the year they won it all, they consistently not only lost those minutes, but often lost them horrendously, as in they were up 12 when Jokic sat and up like maybe up only 2 or 4 or even down when he returned. So … if we can't win those minutes, how close can we come to drawing those minutes? That's really the whole ball game right there. I'm not exactly 100% all in on Westbrook … however … the fact remains the guys has been all about creating points. Does he have enough left in the tank and will he buy in enough to help us draw or come close to drawing the non-Jokic minutes? Sure, you can think of a lot of other questions, but, really, that's the whole deal right there.
