This will probably be our toughest matchup in group play. Basically the greeks are running everything through giannis and we have no interior D. However we’re packing on the guard play

Wouldn’t say collapse, didn’t they lead wire-to-wire today? Got in foul trouble too easily though, they really need to clean that up! I wasn’t a fan of these refs today but even saying that, Canada must adapt quickly to the FIBA style of play and officiating.
But yeah, they did end the game without their strongest defenders out there and that’s not a great way to do things in general. Closed it out with only 2 starters left on the court.
Lots of room for improvement, but at least this is coming after a win. Hopefully they make the adjustments for the next game.

Questionable to let Murray stay out there for so long in the 4th. I know he made those 2 clutch FTs but Nickeil was far more valuable at that juncture of the game for defense.
